Yes and no.... With these Chinese units you take a chance. The number one problem is they have ECM module problems in the outdoor unit. Now they sell thousands of these so if the issues were wide spread they would not have business. Mine heats with no issue at all. Less efficient than Fujitsu rls3 models by like 30-50% depending on the outdoor temps. When set the AC it usually gives me error code p4 which means like 4 different issues including outdoor ECM board. I leave it on and in 5-10 minutes it eventually turns on and purrs like a kitten. I'm happy with it but I installed it my self. If you have a contractor install it and pay hundreds every time you call him for a issue it would be much much cheaper in the long run to pay 500$ more dollars and get a much more efficient Fujitsu rls3 model which blows the doors off this in efficiency and has absolutely no issues. I have both in my house.

@@ne7s29 How do you know it's less efficient? I was told there are 2 manufacturers for these mini split heat pumps and all of them are produced in china. In terms of the HSPF, SEER, energy star ratings they're all similar. Just curious as I am in the market for one.

@@windstorminator Google neep cold climate heat pump list and you will see that seer and hspf are like mpg ratings on cars. Drivers are not the same so not everyone gets the stated mpg and same with hspf numbers. We don't live in. Test lab. We live in climate zones and know what temps we experience most of the time. The 12rls3 Fujitsu will produce i believe 9k btu at 17f at over 300% efficiency. So 3kw of heat per 1kw of elec used at that specific load and outside temp. The top model Chinese sensible 12k heat pump is rated at only 7k btu at 17f and at a efficiency of 2.63. Now bump up the Chinese one to 9k load like the Fujitsu and you will be down to 2kw out put per 1kw used where the Fujitsu is giving u 3kw to 1kw used. Over the winter and years of use it will well pay for its self many times to get these top model Fujitsu. 1700$ for Fujitsu or 1100$ for senvile same size. 600f difference will pay for its self in a few years and give u much more years of life and less service calls

@@ne7s29 I've had a look at the list, they don't seem to be too far part from each other, some of the samsung units are interesting as their 18k btu units produce up to 40k btu's of heat which is interesting, cop isn't that good tho on them at those numbers

@@windstorminator over all temp efficiency i see Fujitsu at top of my list. For general use it seems to be producing the best numbers. If I live in Alaska I would buy the Gree crown model Mini split sense it's numbers at very low temperatures are amazing. But in the average temperatures its efficiency is not so good
