I have NO idea if it is even possible, but I would LOVE to see a clip with a camera mounted to the inner drum of the wax spinner. That way it would look like the wax is just crawling to the side and then up the wall.

I agree, that would bee spectacular to see. Unfortunately I have no idea how to set it up. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

Any way to get a longer & wider paddle to scrape the sides of that extractor? Insert it & spin the drum manually. Might save a lot of time & effort.

Though I did not show it, I did use my honey stirrer to scrape the wax off the walls, and it worked so much better. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 600 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. I'm sorry, but I do not know those measurements. However, if you go to Mann Lake Bee Supply on the web, and type in extractors and wax separators, you will probably find all the info you need on them. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

a lot of wax for candle making

Mr.Ed an of subject question. In your oppion. Are privet or ligustrum good to have close to honeybees? The reason i ask is i enjoy making new plants rooting cuttings. I would like to have a reason other than a privacy fence for these plants. Thank you

In my opinion, yes. Some people consider the smell of ligustrum overpowering and a aids to suffering from allergies, but I'm perfectly fine with every aspect of it. Plus, it does make for a good privacy fence when tall enough. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed

I love watching your videos. Have you ever made a video on the bottling process? Besides being able to purchase your honey from the gift shop do you sell it any other way? I sure would like to get some raw honey because I think it is so much better than getting it from a grocery store.

Hi Ed, good video. Curious why you don't use the knifes? My understanding is they help to turn the wax over to allow more to extract and then there isn't a scraping process at the end? Or am I thinking of a spinner that auto empties?
@JeffHorchoffАй бұрын
The function of the knives is to chop the cappings as they fell into the spinner, but since the cappings from our uncapper are so small, the knives were not necessary and I removed them.
