September 3 webinar. What do you do when a ministry that helped shape your faith takes up a position that makes you uncomfortable or that you see as problematic? Christianity Today fits that description for many American Christians in the wake of its editorial position and coverage of the violence in Gaza.

As a Palestinian Christian with family in Gaza, this (30:33) sentiment by brother Daniel is exactly how I feel. I've given up hope in the Church tbh. I dont think they'll ever see us as humans.

Endless wars leave crimson stains on every side of the equation. Many will lose faith. Thank you for these insights. Cling to Christ who lives, saves, restores and befriends, even in this today. Pray for Peace always. Truth and grace to all journalists in these turbulent times. Jesus, Yeshua we trust in You 🕊📖 We all need spiritual healing. For me, seeing Palestine suffer with polio in the 21st century indicates the darkness of the age these wars and inhumanity have ushered in. I am not a CT subscriber

CT Mag has been one of the most disorienting forces in these past few months… what’s also more frustrating is that some conscious Christian authors and pastors, though in disagreement with CT’s one sided and harmful position, continue to contribute to this magazine through their other writings. I don’t see major push back from the ones quietly dissenting. For many of us here in the Middle East, these are not mere differences in opinion, these are matters of life and death. So much can be said here, but you’ve all said much of what needs to be said, so thank you.

Thank you for your comment. The Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East is striving to do the work of talking within and to the American church about the devastating consequences of our common positions about Israel/Palestine. We are committed to helping our American brothers and sisters wake up and do better.
