its def a good option for more experienced hobbiest whom have the tools (ability to solder) and good radio to pair with it along with good understanding of the firmware settings; def not for noobs unlike the hobbywing.

Yeah, the hobbywing is super easy to use but this one has more potential! This new package has everything soldered now. Although the stock wire is so long that it is best measured and cut to the application.

Hey Francis, what stock wire/wires need to be cut down? I don’t mind shortening the motor wires, slightly dislike battery battery wires , but I draw the line with small servo wires. Just hate it!! I won’t even do it.

Pretty sure all the new versions of Hobbywing and Spektrum Esc's use 32 bit hardware. That's basically industry standard now.

Mannnn... I JUST bought the Hobbywing SE last night based on your previous videos. Oh the irony.. But Im sure I wont be disappointed in the Hobbywing. Going in a VS4-10 Phoenix
@RCReviewChannel

You won't be disappointed. The SE is sooo good and bulletproof in all applications and loads and in water. Such a clean and easy install too. Sequre really comes to play when you want 4s battery power.

😂😂😂 just ordered the fusion se 1200kv for my mashigan, didn't go higher kv as the mashigan is quite high gearing out of the box 👌

Hh cm3 and a 2500 revolver stubby die the same... as with all outrunerz you need to gear it down to get awesome modulation

In both applications in the video, I didn't gear down. This motor has so much torque. Good advice though for me to try if I notice anything.

Not gonna beat a Fusion pro for durability and reliability. Not even a close comparison because it's an outrunner set up. Water, mud etc is going to destroy it and that's assuming the esc is waterproof
@RCReviewChannel
@RCReviewChannel 21 күн бұрын
That's a fair assessment. It's better than a Fusion Pro in terms of performance, price and power to weight ratio. Fusion Pro is better in the other things. That being said, many LCG comp crawlers that want the ultimate performance are going for this kind of setup. Although Fusion Pro is being used in that application as well.

@@roosterrc6519how? He’s letting people know it has its weaknesses. These are for lcg cheat code builds, not regular trail or crawl applications. He even stated in the video he pushed it to failure. Seems like your just a troll that has nothing to contribute

@RCReviewChannel I don't disagree on the performance gains, the light weight outrunner/mini esc set ups are the way to go for comp rigs or on the rocks only. I'm happy to see a much more cost effective set up that does well. My set ups are Revolvers with Silent Assassin ESCs currently. But those are in my comp rigs ONLY. With my youngest getting into comps now too having a budget friendly option for his will be nice. Everything else is Fusions from old versions to all 3 versions of new ones (have mostly pros but a few se as well) because you can do whatever you want to them and they just keep going. Mud, snow, submerged they don't care.
