As russian i have to say, that serbians don't know about us mostly :D Many times I heard how sirbians say: "i love Russia and Putin and hate the west" when many russians hate putin and want to live in peace with all over the world. I don't like a radical nationalistic attitude in Serbia but anyway love each other, include Serbia :)

I’m Russian and if Serbs speak slowly, I can understand about 50% of what they are talking about

@@vasyavasev5553 I can understand around 80% as a Russian , from pretty much any Slavic language including Serbian... But the words can't be isolated and I need to hear a whole sentence. Because there are unique words in each language, that if you just isolate them you will not understand what it means , but if it's spoken in a sentence (and slowly enough) you should always understand it. At least for me I pretty much always get what the conversation is about and what someone is trying to say in any Slavic language even though I only know Russian.

All Slavic languages are similar, but knowing Russian would help you the most. Yes we can understand each other between Slavs for the most part.
