Coming from a proud Aussie, Serena is the UNDISPUTED GOAT!! My purpose is shutting down any closed minded arguments here in Australia. It is very hard to describe the greatness of Serena. No words can really describe her. She is passionate about tennis, she is athletic, she has a powerful and precise serves, she plays cross courts magically, she plays drop shots exquisitely, lobs and back hands. Yet there is something extra about her that makes one compelled to watch her. It is magical. Many tennis players are good, but none of them made me wanna watch their whole game. Only Serena has that extra thing, which I am not even sure what is it!!! Is it her fierceness? Or her intensity??? Or her power? I am really not sure. I just feel when I am watching Serena that I am watching a ballerina 👌👌👌. Thank you, Serena, for entertaining us with high quality tennis all those years.🌹💖💜❤️🍀🌺💞🥰🥳🎊🌵🎾🏆🎈💝😅🌿💙😇🍰👑💚

A person who behaves like Serena at the USOs 09, 11 and 18 is never “great“. She doesn’t have a elegant and graceful games either. Almost no memorable all-time classic slam matches. Only 73 of 240 tournaments won. Lenglen, Wills, Evert, Navratilova are one league above her. Court and Graf even two.

Serena Williams once came to Detroit and was speaking at Wayne State University, and I knew she was coming so I got her the big gift basket with a stuff bear and all kind of great stuff in it. Cost me about $60.00 and I went with my niece and was so happy. My plan was after Venus and Serena finish talking, I was going to give her the gift basket. So, they talk to all of us, and they were awesome. When they finish everybody who had gifts grab them and started walking towards Serena and Venus. Back then and maybe still now they had this skinny white woman who went with them everywhere and she stop all of us and told us to put our gifts on this long lunch table, so we all did. One guy had this beautiful painting he did of them that was really amazing. So Serena and Venus left and then the rest of the people with them left after a few more handshakes with the Wayne State organizers and then they all left. We was waiting for somebody to come back and get our gifts but nobody ever did. The look on everybody faces was heartbreaking and slowly one by one we all went to the table and pick up our gifts and left. My niece who was still young at that time was like ... uncle, you ok? yeal, I'm good I responded, and we both walked back home. True story. GRIM

Never rate any player as the greatest because thats total stupidity!! Tennis was played differently in different eras and each era produced a bunch of legends. Serena came from the ghettos and went on to become a legend and that must be appreciated as she and sister had to overcome racial bias a lot and the reality is racism is here to stay - whether you like it or not. So just learn to live with it and never let it demoralise you. What went wrong is like all neo-rich people, she and her family went on to become upstarts and spoilt brats, and worse, she took success for granted and started bloating like a buffalo. Initially, players were intimidated by her fame and lost matches that they could have won. Gradually, with the constant advancement of tennis coaching skills, players younger and fitter than her started overtaking her to such an extent that there was no guarantee that she can easily win over her opponents She had enough opportunities to retire when the going is good like Ash Barty did, but her undying greed for money was her undoing which culminated in her shameful exit in R1 of Wimbledon 2022 to a literal unknown!! There is no way she can regain her past fitness and power play unless she sheds a whole lot of weight and age has already overtaken her, resulting in constant injuries requiring longer periods of rest. So its obvious that she has no choice to give up before she starts losing to all and sundry. She can be rated only as one of the best in her era and never ever as a G O A T. The next STUPID who refuses to retire when the going is good is another goat-brained Swiss caller Federer who stupidly dreams of winning a few more GS

Serena's generation was more competitive and had more complete athletes which is why it was hard to dominate. She excelled in singles and doubles at the same time, which is rare in this generation.She's definitely the greatest.

In Serena's era a player from the Steffi era, Kimiko Date, could come back after 13 years and beat several slam winners as a 39/43-year-old grandma. Ask Sharapova, Stosur, Li, Muguruza, Pennetta. No wonder most people call the Steffi era the "Golden Age of Women's Tennis"!
