Must be one of the first series ~V as it has a 1965 reg plate.. I bought a SV off ebay blind from a dealer in Lincolnshire which turned out to be derelict..Never less i fell in love with the car thinking of what history it must have had from evidence i found. The interior was in surprisingly good shape though . Sadly it had to go when i lost my small business premises ..Sold it at a great financial loss and expected it to be broken for spares.. Good news is that it appeared on the Matthewson auction site after being restored by a brilliant ex Rootes employee..The car survives to this day..I wish all the best for the chaps with this example.

I Had a 1966 D Reg back in 1984 I was 22 same colour as that one with black interior paid £175 lovely car and my late father had a gold one E reg that he got for nothing with light frontal damages I sold my car to my father few years later when the main bearings in the engine went. He had them a few years then they needed body work so he gave them away to a car body repairer and sprayer on the understanding that at least one car would be restored and put back on the roads the two cars sat in his yard and both rotten away and my father always used to say that he would have never have gave him the cars if he know how it would have turn out sad end two great cars
