Stored for 28 years, this was a relatively easy pickup. The car looks good, just paint damage from storage and time.

I thought it looked like it was probably a minter before storage and your description above bears that out. Just recommissioning and a bit of cosmetic work and it'll be a minter again! Gorgeous car, I'd love one.

Boy does this bring back memories! I worked on the drawings for many of the parts exclusive to this model when I was in the drawing office at Rootes Group in the 60's. It is in remarkable condition with only surface rust where condensation has settled from the roof! I can remember being at MIRA with the mechanics from the experimental department and giving it the "Beans" around the high speed track, while I tried to find squeaks and rattles! Its shape was based loosely on the Chrysler "Barracuda" their rival to the Ford Mustang! I still think it is better proportioned than the Ford Capri its European rival
