Has anyone else felt like Caroline was exactly what you were looking for when you didn’t know what you needed? I wanted to get fitter but I didn’t know how and Caroline came along and basically gave me what I needed in Epic. From her advice to her exercises i really appreciate everything as they’ve been what i needed. I think I would run half a marathon if Caroline ran with me. She has amazing energy and positivity. Yesterday's HIIT was torture and I was still smiling. I feel confident and strong. WOW -- congratulations to anyone who made it through those slow push-ups! Once I hit the tricep slow push-up, I had to drop to my knees. My muscles were shaking for most of this workout! This one wasn't my favorite set-up, I find that supersets with chest presses reeeally stress my forearms -- but that's also a sign of an area I can improve! LOVED the diamond & cobra superset though -- I added some tempo changes in there to really ramp it up! :)

This workout seriously is the toughest chest/tricep workout to date! Triceps completely annihilated, for the first time, had to drop my weights during finisher. The burning biceps workout add-on was no joke, what a burn! Can't say I smashed this one but gave it my very best effort to get to the finish line. Loved the challenge! Thank you Caroline!

Hi...wasn’t this one just so tough! My triceps were finished by the end...but I pushed on through and managed 40 reps of the tricep presses in the last round! I was pleased! I found the slow push ups hardest...I still need to work on those! Like you I did the biceps add on just to balance things out! See you tomorrow! Matthew

@@matthewalmond8820 Excellent job Matthew! 40 reps at the end of the workout is very impressive, well done! The most difficult set for me was the skullcrushers following the overhead tricep extension, triceps were already super fatigued, I managed but they weren't pretty. Rather liked the slow push up, a change of pace although very challenging as well. I did the add-on for the exact same reason you stated, to balance things out. One down, 4 more to go! @@isabelleweiler5603 Hi Isabelle, that’s exactly what I used for most of it 8kg and 6kg! The heaviest I have is 12.5 and I tried the shoulder presses for one set and then reverted to the 8kg! Hi Geri...I was OK on the finisher...I managed to do 40 tricep presses in the last set...but it was the push ups...especially the slow ones that I found really hard! I used 12.5 and 8 kg which I was really pleased with! How does Caroline use 17.5 kg! Sounds like you’ve had a great workout! Hope you have a lovely day! Matthew

@@matthewalmond8820 it was a great workout, the push ups after weight routine was a great way to see how just body weight can be so effective. I’ve always been active & exercises but never really done weight training to this kind of regime. It also helped me overcome the idea you can’t build muscle on a vegan diet after 40 too which is another great breakthrough. I also think the longevity has shown me some mental well-being effects in ways that surpassed all expectations. Great all round - 61 and fit as a fiddle Matthew. It’s very inspiring & motivating hearing your uptake and experience daily. See you in the morning for round two ! 😁

That was intense!! Some of the push ups felt impossible!! Especially the staggered on, lucky if I got 3 in each side. The slow ones I had to modify to 10 seconds each way. On the finisher, the skull crushers just weren't happening 😂 Just could not get my left arm to lift back up, it died on me. Weeks annual leave so time to do the add on. All in all, a good upper body sesh today. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi Nicola...weren’t those slow push ups just killing! I can go down OK...but if I go down slowly then my muscles are so tired that I can’t push back up slowly! They just won’t work...the best I can do is to push back up more quickly...then go down slowly again! Next time I’ll try Caroline’s idea of going down more quickly but pushing back up slowly! The finisher was hard...but somehow I managed 40 tricep presses with 8 kg in the last set! I did the add on too...I didn’t want my biceps to feel left out! Hope you have a lovely time on leave! Arms are shaking! I did the excellent bicep video too. So my one rep pushups were more like one slow descent, then hold, then collapse! But that’s okay…I lasted 30 seconds doing that, then watched Caroline finish the last 15 seconds for me! This, for me, is still a huge improvement from a year ago. Thank you for the tip on those uneven pushups. I hadn’t been doing them correctly and that tip was a game changer, and actually made them a lot more challenging! Looking forward to tomorrow!

Went on vacation for 3 weeks with the best intentions of doing some workouts and did none! That was definitely not my best workout...had to drop my weights down quite a bit. My arms are like jello!! Thanks for another great workout Caroline!

WOW!!! These supersets were SERIOUSLY super hard! I found it harder and harder to perform push-ups as time went by and my right tricep totally failed during the finisher's skullcrushers, but I know I gave my best throughout the whole workout so I'm super proud of myself. 🔥💪I won't be able to move my arms for the next couple of days, but... who cares? 🤣 I also have to point out the fact that I can really notice the difference in my performances since I found Caroline's channel, and I'm not only refferring to the number of reps. I am much more aware of my body's position, bracing the core is totally natural now, I even notice the effect of each exercise on each muscle. For example, I am pretty sure that I didn't perform overhead tricep extensions well back in EPIC I, 'cause I really don't remember my triceps burning as much as today! Thanks again, Caroline, for everything that you have taught me over the past 15 months or so. You are really an EPIC bliss. ❤️🙏

I agree with most of the comments as to how intense and harsh this workout was. I did all the push ups on my knees, and tried to give all my best during slow ones, but still those are on some space level for me. Your endurance is amazing, I keep admiring your power and hard work. Thank you!

Way to go Sara!!! I reckon you will do a push up soon and be thrilled once you do! Have you tried from a plank position on your hands lowering slowly to the mat? Then using knees come back to plank, lift knees from mat then try again? Well done on reaching this far in EPIC III Sara!!🤩👊🏼

this upper body workout was literally EPIC. i dropped weights (sizes) the entire time and was on my knees for pushups again. (thought i was finally past that but nope!) now to try to use my arms today -good luck! great workout yet again Caroline!

🔥🔥🔥!! Holy moly! My arms and hands couldn't function properly and my chest was dancing by the end of this workout😆!! Putting my makeup on for work an hour later was a challenge in itself🤣🤡🤣!!! This workout was really tough...and really amazing!! I loved the diamond cobra/cobra pushup superset. Really enjoyed the staggered pushups (even tho they killed) and flyes with the pause at the bottom. The finisher did just that. What a workout to really grit it out!! Loved it👊🏻. You deserve a standing ovation for this planning and your performance Caroline..way to go!👏🏻 I did a little bit of an older stretch & strengthen video of yours for my add-on...umm yeah could barely hold myself up with my arms to do it🤣🤣!! Still enjoyed what I did tho. Haha!! Thanks so much Caroline. Looking forward to leg day!! See you tomorrow😁

I found thevslow push ups killing and I just couldn’t believe how hard cobra push ups could be when we got round to those! I managed to do the biceps add on...I didn’t want my biceps to feel left out ! See you tomorrow for lower body! I’m sure Caroline will have something superb planned for us! Matthew

Cold & Rainy Monday today. So, Rearing to break a sweat with Chest and tricep workout. It's going to be 🔥. We GOT this! Have a great workout! 👊 Oh Yes! This one is a Scorcher! Arms Burned. First superset my chest were shaking and those push-ups after the presses were Killer. Really Demanding wo. Luv it. Had to push hard with all the strength I have left for the finisher. What a workout!! That was quite challenging. I was hoping for the body weight part to be a bit easier... i was kidding myself! The bicep add on was quite intense also. I workout at 5 am and i enjoy gettting up and discovering what is in store for us. Never have i been disappointed. You have changed my life in many ways Caroline. Thank you so much. I do not want Epic 3 to end... having such a great time.

This was super tough for me! I was dying during the slow push ups 😂. Well, I think I was dying during the first super set with the chest presses and I remember thinking “this is going to be hard” 🤣. Thank you Caroline ❤️

Caroline, I have to admit that, with this workout you have surpassed yourself!!! From the slow tricep push up exercise and on, it was almost just mental for me. I could't feel the muscles of my arms, so I just kept pushing my mind not to stop working. It was an absolute burnout!!! If all the workouts that have been left, until the end of the program are of that intensity and creativity, I think there are going to be 3 of the most enjoing weeks that I will have. Great job👍👍👍

Supersets, Super Weights, Super Fatiqued 👌 Used 22.5kg DBs for the first Presses, all went well until the final alternating presses in set three. At 10 secs to go the quiver started and getting those final two reps completed was tough. Loved all the pushups, flyes, presses and the tricep work which I used 12.5 kg DBs for. Definitely my best performance on Chest to date but glad I practiced all those Push-up Holds on those FB challenges. Awesome set Cx 🤩

Hi Anthony...I was expecting that you would just love this workout! Wasn’t it a tough upper body session! Those slow push ups followed by normal push ups were just so hard!! I’m amazed that you managed 22.5 kg...really so impressive! I used 12.5 kg and found that challenging! I enjoyed the finisher and managed 40 reps with 8 kg in the last set which pleased me! I did the biceps add on...I didn’t want my biceps to feel left out of the fun! Then my arms were finished! Have a great evening, Anthony, and see you for lower body tomorrow! @@matthewalmond8820 Mi Matthew tough it was, maybe if they were single sets I would have tried the 25kgs for the Press but the problem is not the press but getting the weights of the floor to the starting position. Getting very cold over here so a night for sitting in I think. See you tomorrow.

Oh I know this is going to burn! Really looking forward to working my triceps more, easily my life-long weakest muscles! I’ve been doing some of my own extra work on them because there is a certain move in yoga I am trying to nail which requires that strength.Getting there! Some of it is mind over matter and I think those slow pushups is exactly the training I need.

Hi Alison...this is certainly a hard one! If you can manage the slow tricep push ups then your triceps are super strong! I really found that one hard! Probably it was because we were on the mat for the entire workout, but even if I was already aching and trembling at halfway, it was actually more "easier" than while standing! Great workout 💪 Thank you ❤️

💪👊🔥💪👊🔥💪👊🔥 Triceps have been annihilated 💯🔥😆 that was tough going, and I really struggled today not to give in, triceps were on fire. 3rd set of chest press was hard arms started to tremble 🙈 The slow pushup was really hard after the chest press, and found the staggered push ups hard today. Those diamond cobras and cobra pushup are sneaky, they start off fine then the burn kicks in 🥴🔥 Fab start to the week, 👊💪👌💯😁

Happy Monday All! So with week 8, it is clear that I am going to have to really push through. This morning I was fatigued from the beginning and took many breaks. So glad that the overhead extension/skull crusher set was only one light weight. My triceps are definitely on fire! I used a band for my push-ups today (just felt like i needed the support) and it's the first time that I felt successful at those slow push ups.

😳😳😳.. even after a year, I’m still struggling with push ups. I got half way down, started to shake and collapsed, watched Caroline for a few seconds thinking what the heck and pushed up (from my knees, sorry)… I did more cobra push ups as I can do those 😊. And had to drop to 5kg for the last part. But I did it!. And I’d only show up for this amazing angel of a woman. Thank you 🙏 🔥🙌💪

Another super super tough workout. I used 16.5kg each, the most weight I have for dumbbell, dropping to 10kg each, probably a little too heavy struggled with the skull crushers form slightly. Thank you Caroline.

i literally just said yesterday how proud I am of how good my pushups have gotten. and then i did this workout. those pushup supersets were brutal! near impossible! my arms are shaking like crazy!
