Caroline's intros and information are amazing. This one especially struck me because of some of the following: Knowledge is power and we are all aiming to power our way through these workouts, it stands to reason, the more knowledge and understanding we have, the more power we achieve. Technique is key, with this you will notice better results, and progress to your chosen goals knowing you have developed through strength and good technique. We are lucky to have Caroline, who shows us the techniques, we pay her, and ourselves back, by growing physically and mentally stronger. There was a line in the intro that really struck a chord with me: "This is where the magic happens", Caroline was referring to the lowering movement of the sweep. It's a brilliant phrase, it helped me so much during this workout. It conjours up an image I will take with me through these workouts to help me achieve my personal goal. I hope everyone enjoyed this challenging arm and back workout. I think we've earned our active rest day after this. 👍🏻👍🏻☺️☺️👊

I'm currently in school studying to be a physical therapist, and I think it's so cool how you apply all of the knowledge there is in regards to training all of the muscles, and how important they are in regards to every day mobility and activities. I never really paid attention to my upper body and only focused on lower body workouts but ever since I've started training with Caroline (Epic II and now done every single workout in Epic Heat) I feel my muscles are so much more defined and have never felt better about myself. Thank you Caroline for being such a blessing in these hard times. I no longer feel the need to go to the gym, only go running few times a week after completing the workout. Not to mention I love all your outfits and your ever smiling face is such an inspiration to so many of us! :D :D

Indeed, it was intense!! For very long I was looking for a workout exactly like this, and last night when I finally "found" it, I promised myself that no matter how challenging it could be, i was going to do it to the end. And I did it. . . I also used heavier weights than I normally do. I sometimes watch other trainers workouts but I always come back to your videos because your videos are so professional, and I can't even to imagine how much work and effort you put in each one of them. Thank you Caroline for inspiring me to continue working out even at my age.

That was an intense 30mins, focus required using 15kg & 10kg DB. Pullovers were OK and maintained the 15kg throughout. Tates taken nice and slow but the skull crushers after were so tough, but done with no stopping. Sweeps just make the kickbacks burn even more. Single handed Cobra I do struggle with so used the free hand just to balance it a little. Diamonds followed by Tricep Pushups takes grit but pushed my way through that. Finisher was a killer but a great way to end a fab session. Lats, Tricep and even the centre chest all look well pumped.

IVe been very physically active and loved working out (maybe too much...) but Caroline has taught me so much and changed my exercise habits so much.... for the better. She is showing us we clearly don’t need to be in the gym for 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week. I am so eternally grateful for Caroline and this entire community. Omg ! Caroline continues to kill us in a way that we are all addicted to ! LOL. I hope everyone is doing well in this workout, I know I am. I am a high school track athlete and have been noticing more strength and ability in my other training. Sometimes I switch Wednesday and Thursday trainings to ensure rest before competitions , and I find these workouts to be great to improve. I feel so mentally and physically stronger, as well as my mindset on fitness. The quad workout of Tuesday was KILLER and filled with burn, and can’t wait for this upper body one to complete on Thursday. Wishing you luck, and love ur looks Caroline !

Hello out there! Triceps workouts are not my favorite but this workout I like very much. Sweepers and kick offs… wow… an many push ups at the end. I tried every variation of it to get through this part: on toes, with a band around the Arms, incline… Today I can do 5 on toes with the band around the arms. I could do only on knees till yet. This progress motivates me very much. Thank you Caroline to show me consistence at training ! Have a nice day☀️

I never know what fascinates me more Caroline's outfit the absout colour coordinated video the exact explanation why we train which muscle Caroline's attentiveness during the video to make sure we are doing everything right. Just finished up with the session ... that was incredible! The 30 minutes flew by, loved the staple and especially the push ups. Basic movements but efficient. Did 20 min of hill sprints beforehand and 15 min 'back&core' (with ab wheel) straight afterwards. Thank you for sharing such amazing content, Caroline! Happy Wednesday!😃

Push ups are great for the whole body ... for strength and cardio. I read that push ups belong to Calisthenics like pull ups. I practice push ups extra once per week. This helped me a lot. You can do Caroline's 5 or 10 minute push ups challenge or 'upper body & core' supersets on your active rest day - If you fancy it!👌💪😉 Have a stellar day ahead, my dear!🤩🌞🌄💐

Great job Monika!! The sessio. Did really fly by!! I loved the staple a lot..and my arms were all but dead when we got to the pushups but I eeked some out!! 💪🏻! Definitely can see the progress with the tricep pushups. Great job on the sprints 🏃♀️🥳!! And the back and core add on! I'm sure that was a burner!! Today was really intense..it was awesome! I will definitely be sore tomorrow haha! Hope you have a great day Monika!!

This was one taugh workout!!! Triceps on fire from first set!!! Could not believe it was going to be so intense! 🙈😁 I absolutely loved it! Good opportunity to practice push-ups, although I had to modify last set of diamonds and triceps 🤷♀️😅 I did an extra 15 min of shoulders ❤ Thank you, Caroline for another amazing session!

Guten Morgen Ilse! Das hast du toll zusammen gefasst - gestern waren unsere armen Beine dran und heute geht's mit schlotternden Knien an den Oberkörper!🤣🤣🤣👊 Die Liegestützen waren nicht ohne, mit einem ermüdeten Trizeps 👌😉. Ich habe 2x7,5 kg benutzt und für die ersten drei Runden staple 1x15 kg für pull overs. Dann ging das nicht mehr und ich habe 1x7,5 kg benutzt.💪 Das workout gefällt dir bestimmt ... hab Spaß beim Training! Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Mittwoch!😀💐😘

Moin Monika und Ilse, ich kann jetzt schon sagen, dass ich die Trizeps push-up auf den Knien machen werde, die schaffe ich einfach nicht anders 🥵 Bin mit 5kg am Start , aber Hauptsache mitmachen und durchhalten 👊🙌🔥💯 gaaanz viel Spaß Eucv beiden 👋💐🌺🧡

@@soleil0812Elli Caroline weiß, wie man Muskeln 'ausbrennt'!👌😅🔥🔥🔥 Ich musste keine Liegestützen auf den Knien machen - ich habe zw. 8 und 10 Liegestützen mit Pausen geschafft. Mir sind fast die Arme ab gefallen, also war es ein gutes Training!👌😆 Ich übe Liegestützen einmal pro Woche extra und mache auch Trizeps und Bizeps extra - das hat mir sehr geholfen, stärkere Arme zu bekommen. Und du hast recht, Elli - das Gewicht ist Nebensache, was zählt ist der Spaß!👊💪😀🎉🥳🤩 Viel Freude beim Training und hab einen tollen Tag!😀👊💪🔥🔥🔥👌

It was Intense alright. Used 6.5kg DBs. Upper body is shaking and it's not because of the earthquake we just had! The staples was a 🔥. Solid workout!

I did this today after work. Caroline, this was challenging, I used my 2(7.5kg Dumbells). When it came to Diamond and Tricep push-ups, oh well, I managed only four, I just couldn't do them, I was literally shaking. Active rest day well deserved tomorrow. Sprints and yoga. ❤💪

It might not have spiked my heartrate or had me gasping for breath but this was, in fact, quite intense. I really enoyed the flow of the workout and, after the first little bit it went by relatively quickly. My body is toast and I am grateful to be taking a rest day tomorrow; I deserve it - but only because this programme is pushing me far out of my comfort zone and I'm really enjoyed being challenged like this. Thanks for all your hard wokr, Caroline! Much love from South Africa

This one flew right by!! Love these kinds of workouts, slow paced, focusing on form, arm muscles pumped up!! My favorite😍 those pushups really didn’t work for me, but I did my best to go down as far as I could, even if it was just 10 centimeters. I switched between 4kg and 3kg depending on how fatigued I felt. This was my first time doing sweep backs and kickbacks full out with great form! Really proud of how far I’ve come with my strength in my triceps. I remember struggling a lot in the beginning. It’s all thanks to you Caroline❤️❤️

It was intense super session, though I need to change the weight of the dumbells from light to heavier and visa versa, it was actual fun. Now I feel my lat after pullover repetitions. And the push-ups were so difficult to perform, but I am doing my best. Thank you so much! You are amazing❤️

Caroline, you never stop amazing me, you just kill the chosen muscle group, working over and over in so many way, it is quite challenging for people who do not modify, simplify and have a competition spirit, such as myself! one cheat: i had to take 30 sec break before gong into last set of pushups! ( I must say this is very challenging to complete all the sets of tricep and diamond pushups!) Thank you for your greta video, is a lot of work!

great challenging training, I lost my arms despite the use of way smaller dumbells! I am recovering from a shoulder injury and I feel I have improved a lot with those training alongside with the physio! Let's see how it will be at the end of the EPIC HEAT challenge! Tricep isolation exercises are one of my weakness. I started (very optimistically!) this with 6kg, then halfway through the first staple decided to go down to 5kg, later went down again to 4kg. And still by the time I got to the pushups my arms were shaking and I had to actually use a chair to do incline diamond pushups. This workout was SO incredibly challenging and still so rewarding, I loved every minute of it and I'm pretty proud of myself for making it to the end. (Also, my fitbit tells me I burned 76 cals. As if we needed more proof that numbers and calories aren't really that important when it comes to smashing fitness goals)

I'm really going to focus and I'm constantly looking at holding a firm tight core and working on getting the "accessory" muscles to engage the whole time under tension. We've got this! I don't mind giving this 30 minute workout an encore since I love an upper body tricep pump feeling all day long. Thanks Caroline!

I really had to modify this one and that finisher really was a finisher! But I love that Caroline keeps challenging me and the shorter sessions in the Heat programme (I’ve done Epic 1 & 2) mean I can really give it everything I have!

I have been inconsistent these past few months because of school and chores. I have gained weight and it all goes to my arms. I am disappointed and discouraged however if I try to work on it again just like I did these past year I would bring back the results I have in my arms and I will get better result this time. I would be glad if my fats goes on my butt or hips but it goes in my arms. Anyway, thanks Caroline! I just bought weights and my creatine is on the way now. Thank you! ❤❤
