I finished the storyline using native trainer with teleports and immediate elimination of targets thinking that could be closer to a sppedrun timing, but still that wasn't this fast. You can instigate a fight in this game by locking on to an NPC and entering the fighting stance. This is accomplished by pressing the block input while locked on. Depending on the NPC’s personality type (determined by the code), they may begin to fight you after a short wait. Press/spam E near the dropped pistol, which causes Niko to pick the gun up like a brick (as you can do with the E key in this game). The game gives you max pistol ammo. Sometimes less when taken from a gang member in the area. If you’re too slow, Niko will pick up the pistol normally (teleportation into the inventory by standing on/near the weapon) and be given the usual amount of ammo. The only other weapon it can be used on is the grenade (one of the Most Wanted targets in Alderney holds grenades). If performed on his dropped grenade, I believe you’ll get an extra two.

Dude, to do what Kyle did, u must know the right timing of every single sms on Niko's phone to progress the story. If you actually saw the run, u could easily see when Kyle was waiting for the sms or a call to come. Without that knowledge story wouldn't progress.

Do you already have a pistol in your inventory? If you do, you won’t be able to do what you see in the video. Another way to handle this is to stand over the pistol on the ground while aiming the shotgun, fire a shot from the shotgun (do not have a pistol already in your inventory) and as soon as you fire the shotgun, let go of RMB and spam E.

Much of the physics and in-game time is affected by the FPS. Throughout the run, there are many places where limiting is important to keep everyone on as close to an even playing field as possible.
