For songs that I still cannot play without chords, I just write them down on small notes and place them between me and the guitar processor so I won't use a music stand which would just take so much space. It's also easier for me while playing, because sometimes I need to look at my guitar or my processor and now my chords are also in that directions and I can do more things with less effort which helps me perform better and also looks better.

Our local Home Depot has these in 100 packs. Half are grey on one side black on the other. The others are all black. I can’t remember the brand, but look in the “Velcro section”. There are a lot of other products in that section that you might be able to repurpose. Also check out fabric/crafting stores. Lots of useful products. I appreciate the video and the tips, thank you!

You just inspired me to clean up. Our stage is pretty clean, but could use some fine tuning! I'll go right to Amazon to order some Gaff Tape and strips.

I'm curious about your set wall design. Are those individual LEDs or are you using the floor/top lighting to provide the color?

Do you have a product recommendation for washing the stage floor. Iv tried numerous products. It’s a textured Vinyl. It looks great untill the lights are on. It seems to have a dusty looking bunch of streaks. Iv mopped it and went over with plain water and it still seems to look dusty

Did you know that you can get a roll of 10mtrs double sided velcroe tape, 10mm 20mm wide. Cut off the length you need and wrap it around cables and stands. And the velcore cable ties you can get on Ali Express qty100 for about $5 freight free. We have a large hole drilled at the back next to the snake and another at the top of the step beside the stage extension. The stage extension has a gap about 70mm from the stage so it forms a gutter we can run power and audio cables out of sight and we pull them up onto stage where we want them. Any unused cables I feed back under the stage only leaving about 15cm and the plug hides behind the extension. When I need a cable I just pick the plug I want pull out as much as I need feed along the gutter and bring it up to the mic or instrument DI at the front of the stage. Very tidy indeed. And I avoid gaffer tape and duct tape like the plague I hate the stuff. Had a visiting band for a while and they were in the habit of taping cables to the mic stands which left a sticky deposit on the stand and the cable.

Wow your videos are extremely helpful not to mention inspirational. I’m in the process of installing lights to our new church we have a similar size stage, what lights would you suggest, when it comes to LED stage lights I’m “green”. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated Thank you

What is the product called that goes in front of the keyboard to hide it on stage? I've seen some kind of drapes or partition.

I need some tape that does not leave sticky residue on shiny wooden floors? gaff tape isn't cutting it
@joshuaharr81897 жыл бұрын
Great topic and wonderful tips. We have wired pics for vocals and our vocalists like to move around a little more that gaff tape would potentially allow. This creates a significant problem when it comes to tidying up the stage and creating a professional look. Any tips for this specific issue?
@WorshipLeaderHangout7 жыл бұрын
Joshua Harr Thanks for the question. Anytime I use wired mics I won’t gaff them to the floor unless it is a long section a good ways from the area our vocalist are positioned. Like you said, I like them to have the ability to move. For a cleaner look just run them as straight as you can from the stage box to their position. Maybe one wrap of the cable around the mic stand to keep it close and not sticking way off the stand.

@@WorshipLeaderHangout Of course! I just made a similar video about clean stage tips and I feel affirmed that we have some overlap in our tips! You made a really good point about gaff tape expiring after a while. I need to redo my piano with Velcro ties!
@EdNeuhaus5 жыл бұрын
High-quality gaff tape does not leave much if any residue. Low quality is basically duck tape, which is junk. Please don't ever use zip ties. They need a tool to remove, and very production friendly.

No it’s a church you muppet. Man I hate this mentality of attack anything that is taking inspiration from technology, would be the downfall of Christianity if us contemporary churches weren’t so great at growing. 😇
