Oh!! That tunnel in the glacier that was a beautiful icy blue was probably a lava tube! Your little fox may have just wandered directly into a dormant volcano, its path carved out eons ago by streams of magma through the landscape. It's quite common! Even in Antarctica, there's 138 volcanoes, though the most active of these is Mount Erebus - a 'lava lake' type.

Oh, wow! I remember seeing this game a long time ago and almost forgot about it. So glad to see it again! That spirit fox reminds me a lot of a folktale, I think it comes from Finland (I’ll fact-check it) called the Fox Fires. At its base, it’s about a fox who runs across the sky leaving a trail of the Aurora Borealis by its tail! Edit: Yep, it’s from Finland!
