I don't understand how we have speakers in this world who can convey the simple notions of peace and have their words be virtually unheeded. "Wouldn't it be great if we could heal the world with only a song?" This is something I wish the leaders of this world would take time and think about. We as a species of humans all share this earth, the air we breathe, the resources we need to live, and we share the gods-given gift of song and language. Through song we convey messages that carry greater meanings and thought than anything a political minded leader or war hungry dictator could ever communicate. Music of this nature that calls out to the world, begging it to stop and look at what it's actions have and will continue to cause, is a power that few artists in our world today can grasp artfully. Serj Tankian is a man whom I regard as a soul who would wish to see this dream, this ideal of a world united by song, a reality. I want to see that day, to have hope in humanity that we can cast off these foolish notions of borders, race, religious ideology and dogmatic notions and come together as a whole, to look at our world we have begun to kill and to do what we can to undo our mistake before it's too late.

The System Of A Down guys are simply the best. I love their music, their lyrics and their videos. And both frontmants have very good solo projects. Serj Tankian with his solo albums (I love ALL his songs, lrics and videos) and Daron Malakian with his band Scars on Broadway. Their lyrics are so true. No one can make critical lyrics better than them. But my absolute favorite is still Serj Tankian. I hope I can see him live anytime. (sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany :D)
