Will the serpentine belt make your car mess up? If you don’t time it and do everything that you did you just kinda just put it on.??

No, unlike a toothed timing belt, which has to be installed in a very precise position on the pulleys, the ribbed serpentine belt only has to be fitted correctly around the pulleys. Unlike a timing belt, a snapped serpentine belt won't mess up the engine, but on some engines the serpentine belt also runs the water pump so, if it fails, the engine will overheat. Also the alternator won't charge the battery or power the electrical devices in your vehicle, so the battery will run out of charge quite quickly.
