😡🐕 Service Dog Being BAD: Harlow is SORRY! 😓 (3/11/19)

Another HUGE apology to whoever's gift Harlow opened! 🤦‍♀️ I've already spoken to one of them, and he found it rather hilarious. 😅 But I still feel bad! Also, yes... The vlogs are quite late. When we got back to Tampa Bay I continued to crash, and the past few days have been difficult. 😷 I even made the hard choice to have a quiet weekend to myself at home, rather than join Judd and our family/friends for a fun few days in St. Augustine. 😓 It's not the choice I want to make, but I've been pushing myself lately. Now it's time to find a good balance and step back, so my body can rest. ✅ I'll hopefully start to feel better soon and stay tuned for even more fun videos! 😊

Hey Jaquie, this vlog comes at an interesting time because I came home to a similar mess today from my cat. He usually doesn't destroy stuff like that but he chewed holes all over my new, cute cabinet liners that I had shipped from Japan. I think the thing with service dogs is because they’re so highly trained when they get up to mischief their brain can do more complicated things than a “normal” dog. Shame she didn’t also clear up after! 😂

My dogs took a bag of marshmallows off the kitchen counter. When I got up in the morning there was an empty bag and marshmallows all over the living room. I thought it was a little odd that they hadn't eaten them. I started to pick them up and found out they were totally welded to my hardwood floor. I think they just chased them around licking them. If you have pets you have to have a sense of humor. It was a pain to clean up but we've had a lot of laughter out of that over the years.

My service dog gets up to mischief sometimes too. Mine has done really numbskull things in the past that make me sit there and think “you’re very skilled and highly trained... of all the crazy things...” but it’s a good reminder that they’re not robots.

I got my service dog today! He has been in training since he was born 14 months ago. He will be spending increasing amounts of time living with me and going back for training until he is comfortable. He will be going to my first doctors apt (with him) tomorrow. He has gone with his trainer to doctors and hospitals for training (her husband has cancer, so they take my dog with them for training). I am excited and a little nervous as I hope he responds well to me. His name is BluBearri (we call him Blu or BB; my nieces and nephews named him), and he is a golden doodle, though he looks like a big black bear. I love him and he has always been good with me, this is the first dr. I will take him to though. I hope you are doing better, and thank you for all the work you do on your channel. It has been both helpful and entertaining. May you have a blessed weekend.

Chronically Jaquie, yes. This has been fabulous for me. The training is great, and since I have a myriad of illnesses and uncommon symptoms that come with those; he is being trained specifically for me. I have seen him and he has visited since he was 4 months old, and he alerts to my issues very well. I hope you are able to rest this weekend and feel so much better. Thank you.

Some people think that service dogs are just little robots and never do anything bad. I always have to explain that service dogs get into just as much if not more trouble than pet dogs. I have a friend who’s service dog completely emptied the fridge while she was gone.

I have 2 dogs that always get into trouble. One time they brought the plants in from the Florida room and dragged them all over the carpet. They also eat every toy that we buy them. They also steal clothes, receipts, and napkins. My mom makes bracelets with beads and she dropped some the other day and my little dog was picking them up and bringing them to us. Dogs are silly and cute but they all have a mischievous side to them.

Oh man I can relate to having a dog that got up to no good. Before hurricane Michael happened we had a dog that was smart enough to climb ladders and no get back down. He was a curious one. The dogs name was max but we always called him maximum destruction because he always left a mess in his wake even at 16 years of age he was a brat at times.

The other day, my parent's dogs ate a full, almost brand new bar of soap. They left almost no mess, so my parents didn't know anythign was wrong until about 2am, when both dogs started throwing up white foamy stuff! They were of course freaked out so they called a vet's line and decided that they'd be okay since they weren't acting weird. After a long night of multiple trips outside, my mom went to take a shower and found her soap gone. After a second call to the vet, it was determined that the two idiots would be just fine. They aren't young either, my dogs are 13 and 15.

lol oh goodness. my service dog did something similar recently as I've been trying to leave him at home alone a little more often and I didn't quite understand why he was doing that because he had never torn anything up before! mine was a birthday gift my mom gave me, a lunch bag I had only used once so I was kinda sad :( we have cameras in our house and I caught him in the action. I recently started looking into other ways to try and keep my pups stimulated while i'm away, like dog tv, safe toys, leaving a window open for him to look out of, etc.

Well, a dog is a dog, whether one is a service dog or not, she was probably mad at not going with you to Disney and took it on the boxes but because she knew you'd be mad at tearing what was inside she left it alone....that and she probably was curious. Well, at least they are some nice gifts for you and your family, I wouldn't be too mad at her, she isn't going to be the perfect wait at the door everyday dog, she has a personality. Before my dog passed away she use to dig through our stuff and build nests and pull stuff out because she was curious. My sister's dog, likes to steal her socks and shirts and hides them all over the house, and she chews up certain random things throughout the house. She's taught not to, but still does it anyway just because it's her thing.
