I have my first two major surgeries next month and then I'm being sent to a rehab facility but the exciting news is my poodle is supposed to be born Sunday and then once ready they will be spending a bit of time with foster parents I chose and they will be working on house breaking as well as basic commands!

So glad your surgery went well and I hope that your recovery did too. It makes total sense that you weren’t able to blog during preop, it’s always such a hectic and nerve-racking process. I know all I ever wanna do after anesthesia is sleep for like a day so I’m sure having to travel all the way back home and do so much driving was exhausting. That’s annoying that you had to do it again after having it done last year. Did they do it a different way to try to make sure it won’t come back again? How are the nursing staff with Finn being there during preop? He seem to enjoy being in the Airbnb, was he good there and in the hotel?

thank you so much! the nursing staff were all amazing. he was a little overwhelmed because it was such a crazy environment, but everyone was very kind. 2 nurses tried to pet him and then stopped themselves and were very nice when i asked them not to. they did do the surgery a little differently this time and did a bit more extensive surgery in hopes that it won't return. he loved the airbnb!! i think he likes them better than hotels because they are bigger, but he did fine with that too! :)

That’s awesome that the nurses were so understanding and listen to you when you tell them not to bother him. It makes total sense that he would be kind of overwhelmed never having been in a hospital an environment before. I find it overwhelming and I’m a human LOL. If you don’t mind me asking, do you have a specific medical condition that caused the lump or are they just random?

I heard that purina pro plans formula had a problem because I wanted to put my service dog on it but apparently a lot of peoples dogs are getting sick when eating the salmon recipe and the lamb I decided on either hills or iams instead so yes if you can I would switch him off untill their formula gets fixed:)

i don't know... i would recommend seeing a doctor to be sure, but i wouldn't worry too much! my issue was not super common so i bet you'll be fine! but i'm definitely not a doctor haha :)
