Thank you SO much for this video. This is something I’m really excited to train my dog to do but I just wasn’t sure how to even begin

Glad I found this, I was thinking about how I sometimes have trouble getting up so I when I get a dog this will be on of the tasks I want to train them to do but I never knew what it was called so now I know!

Thank you so much for this. My back and balance have had it. Sweety's big girl is very intelligent and is a perfect candidate for helping me, I just didn't know where to start.

You should also show how to train opening doors, picking up things on the floor. How to train a guide dog.

Did didn't show how to stand correctly. Position- being squared up is critical. Besides that, good job.🐾

Can't train my dog to do that. She is too small. I have to have my husband help me up. Hard for me to bend over to put the harness on my dog so I thought her to jump on the chair for I can put it on that way. She isn't a service dog. I do have balance issues and need help getting up as well. I'm always bumping into things but my husband doesn't believe in having a service dog. Only for the blind, he says.

Service dogs are for more than blind and deaf, there are medical alert dogs, psychiatric dogs, mobility dogs there are tons of tasks for service dogs, ada is a great site if you are in the United States, there is no law saying service dogs are strictly for blind and deaf you just have to have a life altering disability

You can train your dog to tug a stool to you instead of bracing
