I have a feeling we all will be crying happy tears with them. I'm sure there will be a lot of memories of the farm shared on the video. I can't wait to see if I'm right. I have a video tucked away in the back of my mind from another channel where the person went with a friend to look at a property. I'm sure whom ever takes over the farm will fill it with love just as Jess and Miah have. I'll be here Tuesday along with you all. The date is already set in my phone with an alarm to remind me. Your roses are gorgeous! I have to be honest, as you were walking around your cottage garden I felt this pain of sadness go straight to my heart when I realized that this summer will be the last time I see this beautiful garden. Yes, I know I can always watch videos from seasons gone by, but this is it, after this summer no more new vlogs in this garden. And then you started talking about the plans for the future and I became excited! I have next Tuesday blocked off on my calendar. I will be here, you can count on that.

You can take those rose cuttings and root them for new plants. (I guess it actually works-I saw a couple of videos last year showing the process.)

It’s like a Christmas count down! 😁 Knowing you’re moving at some point, I’d be marking my roses and plants that I’d be taking with me! Tie them with ribbons!! My sister has done that with every move they’ve ever had, which is kind of a lot in the last 25 years, 💜

My determinate tomatoes die off after the 1st round of tomatoes but they always start growing back and put out more tomatoes. I got tomato's off my patio tomato plant all the way up until December.

Jessie my friends grow tomatoes in a greenhouse and yes they get 25 ft long and they have to be in that greenhouse everyday its a lot of work thanks for all you do, you reminded me that I love to play in the dirt at 63 and Ive always loved gardening but now retired I have returned to a lost love of the earth and growing thanks so much for what you do. God Bless you!!!I was a little girl when I dreamed the dream and God has made it happen in my life so I totally get the dreaming thanks for the words and reminders of the dreams.....At my age I was wondering what was next now I know.....

I'm excited for news of your new farm. I can't imagine starting over and having to build new high tunnels, garden beds, pens and a greenhouse. I'm praying that some of those things are already in place so you don't have to start over from scratch. Are you going to be able to take some of your lovely roses and flowers with you?

Great video. Having a glass of Chardonnay after spending afternoon planting 6 tomato plants to grow pots...beef steak plant tommorow or later to the ground because it will be huge. Just got my 3 blueberry plants in 2 quart planters from Hartmann nursery here in Michigan. Will be planting them later this week when warmer weather becomes consistent..15 gallon grow pots for them. Came thru frost period last week unscathed..yay.and found 2 baby rabbits hiding under leaf bags over my peonies. I guess they liked the warmth of the bags. Happy weekend 😊

So for cheaper options (people that haven't already purchased t posts) I used electric fence posts 2 on each side but they are 1.40 a piece here in Washington. Its basically rebar but we actually had some wind storms (not southern ones but still) and they are still standing strong. I mean if you are on a budget get creative.

I feel like Whispering Willows will eventually be the new owners. Jess mentioned a while back something around the lines of her really wanting someone who will love it and continue it as much as she did. So, my first thought was definitely them. Since Ben Turn works for them, maybe he'll transition with them to their new farm. Just me thinking out loud lol

Your roses: don't prune, train the branches off to the sides, either by tying back with twine or training them with wire bonsai style.

I’d love to know how those varieties work this year in your tunnel. I know you don’t normally mark them, and it may be too late (😬) but it’s be great to see their progress. As a container gardener I’m always looking for ways to save space but get the best flavor. So far I’m stuck with indeterm, which you can imagine makes my patio very unruly. But boy is it delicious.

So excited for your new beginnings! I just love that spring has finally arrived here in southwest Iowa. I have my seedlings hardening off for planting in just a couple days and direct sowed today. We are putting in drip watering this year and had to order a few parts we were short of but that and the planting should be finished by the end of the upcoming weekend.

Wed 28th, for the Aussie viewers. At the hydro tomatoe farm i used to work at, the tomatoes would range between 28 to 36 METERS. It's all about which way you want to grow them, bushes or vines.

20 feet haha here in The Netherlands they are grown in greenhouses and can get 15/16 meters long (about 50 feet)! by continuing to lower them when they reach the top throughout the year.

I went to the garden today to water my salads today , came back 4 hours later! I planted all my tomatoes, half my peppers and lots of extra salad! Seeded peas , spinach, carrots and second generation radishes! All unplanned for today , it just happened!

I agree tie back the rose bush. Then trim what you have to. When I prune my roses back and cleanup the dead roses. They blossom even more and seems they bloom faster.

I bought a 6 pack of dwarf Patio tomatoes and decided to plant 4 of them in a 17 gallon grow bag. I live in zone 9a and I haven't gotten any measurable amount of rain in over a year. I'm hoping to have the plants shade the soil to help limit evaporation so I won't have to water them twice a day. They seem to be happy and are setting fruit. I'm hoping to get a lot of tomatoes before it's 100+ degrees every day.
