Apple makes this a very difficult process but I am so relieved to have finally found a tutorial that really allows you to set any song as your alarm for free. I did find that you have to export it as a ringtone in order to get it as an alarm option. I didn’t realize that was necessary.

Good video tutorial ! Helped to setup a wake-up alarm song to a music file that is available in the iPhone memory. All that remains is to find an audio-file converter app that converts music files to a compatible format, ie : AAC or WAV, as MP4A is not a supported audio format. Thank you for making this Tutorial video and for being thorough with the demo!

Hi. To delete a ringtone, go to the Settings app, Sounds and Haptics, then Ringtones. All you have to do is slide the ringtone you created to the left and there should be a Delete button. I hope this helps.

There isn't a 30 second limit to the alarm song on iPhone, at least not on my iPhone 11 Pro. I have Beautiful Blue Danube (the song) as my alarm and it plays the whole song which is way more than 30 seconds
