Many thanks for another excellent tutorial. This has helped me to stop popping up the ball into the ceilng and eventually getting more distance. Finaly a few 200+ drives while practicing. I love seeing the improvement and can't thank you enough :)

Excellent, very thorough, clear, easy to follow, sound advice. Castle tees help the average golfer get the same tee height they want. After a lot of testing I now usually use a pink castle tee. Your really helpful video has given me confidence that I have got the right tee height for my game. Aged 79 , I find the fairway 90% of my drives ,with an average distance of 160 yards in the summer. Alex has really helped my game with his sound, practical tips. Thank you.

Orange castle, but the real game changer for me shorter shaft=more control, was not getting on with my Cobra SZ, so cut an old Ping G10 driver down by 1 inch and started hitting fairways, not a lot of distance lost as a result, this is staying in the bag for a wee while yet :)

So many options on tees, as well as tee heights. Searching for the right tee has been as bad as searching for the right putter. This video has brought some sense to light. Thank You for sharing your insight... Now I'm off to buy more tees..

Great setup tip. At the range today and tried it and found the middle of the face 95% of the time when usually I pepper the entire face.

Been using the same height(half ball) for all my driving because I thought it was right. I will now try the different heights to see if I can gain some consistency 👏👏

Finally some said it lol. Golf pride yellow 2 and 3/4 inch. Ever since I started using them I rarely balloon them. Hit bombs 250+ yards (long for me) and split fairways.

I use Pride Tee, 3 1/2 for driver. Just work for me. Thanks Alex for the video, i just realized watching this video that I tend to have my right shoulder higher than my left. Time to hit the range.

Pink because I used to be steep in the down swing, but now I’m much better at shallowing so suppose could vary height depending on shot I want to play.

Great content and informative coaching session Alex when in this set up for driver do you keep your head behind the ball relatively to the tilt of the shoulders looking a point behind the ball and what is your thought on hip alignment when tilting the shoulders back maybe a video to coach us pupils on this cheers Alex great content.

“pull the damned trigger, anyway”. That, my friend, is a pretty fair analysis of our games. 😉 I tend to tee the top of the ball slightly higher than crown of driver to accommodate my fade.

I have been only swinging my clubs espically driver 3/4 swing because when ive tried full swing i hit the ground before the ball. What could cause this and do you have any drills on transitionimg from 3/4 to full swing? With 3/4 swing im consistent but only averaging 200yds so it makes for a long fairway shot on par 4s. Which leads me to getting on in 3 and bogeying holes

On a firm short grass tee box I use pink height but if grass longer I lift it up a little higher. For some reason the lush grass vs firm tee box plays havoc with me trying to hit up on the ball #100club
