Golden Tate If you look past the screaming and read into the lyrics, metal bands usually have some really good lyrics that range from personal to broad world issues. Even if you don't care for the screaming, the musicians are talented individuals in their own right. You should check out tesseract's albums "altered state" and "polaris" and mastodon, preferably their album "crack the skye" to start since it has more singing and is one of their best imo. There's also instrumental metal bands and artists like plini, sithu aye, angel vivaldi, intervals, scale the summit, and (if you want insane instrumentals) animals as leaders
