I use to attend a church with this lady who at the time was in her late 80s . Once a month we use to have"family fellowship" after the service (basically a potluck meal). She always said eat dessert first - life is short!

I’m loving this shoe!! No heal slip for me. First few runs it felt heavier than my other options but don’t notice anymore. Loving it for my London Marathon prep!! 🏃‍♂️

Totally agree with you on the heel slip Seth…it was wild to me to see such a dramatic change and I don’t think we’re alone. I’ve loved, loved, loved the Invincible since it came out but this one with the added weight (which was considerable in my size 11) and heel slippage just didn’t work. I also noticed this one felt like the drop was higher than previous versions and I know it’s not, but they did something with the foam to make it feel that way and I think that’s also contributing to the slip. I did find that adding elastic laces helped considerably, but I shouldn’t have to do that at this price point. I’m looking into V1s on Amazon and eBay now and probably going to stock up for a while lol😂 Great honest review as always!

I love the Invincible 3. I never tried the 1 or 2 so I'm coming in with no expectation. I work at a road runner sports location and I had a guy return a pair for heel slipping. I have no issues and absolutely love the shoe!

I was very interested in this shoe because Sally McRae loves it, but I came here first and know this is not the shoe for me, I have a narrow foot and this clearly would not work. Price is way high, a shoe would have to be close to perfect to even think about that price point. QD as a retired nursing home worker, I learned from the residents the only thing that matters is the connection we have with others. You can be rich, but in old age as health declines, if you do not have that family member or friend who comes to visit, you have nothing. Which is why the biggest toll Covid took was emotional, not physical. I never spoke to a patient who was afraid of covid, or afraid of dying, but they missed their loved ones.

Same for me like for many others: I prefer the 1 and 2 over the 3. The shoe is in need of a totally different, soft upper that matches the character of the rest of the shoe.

I was so excited for this shoe. I planned to run a 6 mile recovery run, ended up running 3 miles. So bad I took the shoes off and changed into another pair to drive home. Thanks for my £170 back Nike

I just bought the invincible 3. I'm a 10.5 usually in sneakers . I returned the 10.5 and down sized to a size 10 without heel slippage.

As someone who owns the Invincible 3 just for casual wear they definitely compress on top of your feet at the front a little more than I would like. I got my correct size and use all the lace holes and wear Nike Dri-Fit crew socks or Hanes max cushion crew socks and don’t have any issues with the ankle collar.

I was going to buy them online but decided to go try them on at the Nike store first and thank god I did that. The 'heel slippage' is really bad, I tried a half size down & it was still there. My advice would be to go try them on first to make sure you're not buying a Lemon.

Maybe what could save these shoes is a good pair of running socks that are ticked and with a Grip to not make our feet slide on the insoles. I know that I got some shoes where either the upper or the stability of the middlesole itself leaves my feet a little loosen... and the When I use certain socks..The experience with these shoes totally changes for the better !.

I train in Nike Tempos (UK Size 9) and race in Alphafly (UK Size 8.5) - tried my mate's Invincible Run Flyknit 3 on (UK 8.5) and had heel slip. They need to sort the heel counter out before I'll consider buying a pair.

I have two pairs of the Invincible Run 2 and I really like them a lot, so my expectations were rather hight for v3. Well, compared to the expectations, v3 just doesn't live up to the hype. The heel slippage issue is there for me as well although I've been able to minimize it but it takes a lot of lacing experiments to find the sweet spot in between secure lockdown with no slippage and comfort on the top of my feet. Also, while soft and bouncy as expected, it's not as exciting and fun of a ride as v2 - not even close. It's a good shoe but not a great shoe and still pretty pricey. Fully agree with Seth's assessments here.

What about for people with arthritis in the knees? I have a pair of Peg 37s which I love but also want something more plush. I ordered the Infinity Run 3 and am waiting for them in the mail. Would those be better for bad knees or is the invincible better? I'm not looking for speed running at all. Just comfort while jogging.

I've been running in the Invincible 3 for almost 7 months. The heal slip is the worst part about the sneak but I loved the heal bounce so much, I played with the laces and overcame most of it. Unlike most Nike's I've had (which is many), these are very durable. At $180.00, they better be. (I'm 5'8", 170 lbs, 60 yrs old).

I am an Invincible fan with over 500 miles on my Inv 2s. Are you saying the Triumph 20 is actually a better max cushion/daily trainer than the Invincible ? I have some Triumph 18s but found them to be too firm.

I had plans to come back to Nike for 2023 outside of a racing shoe. After seeing so may people online talking about heel slipping, I said "no eay." If there is 1 deal breaker for me, it's 100% heel slipping. Can't feel confident when your shoes don't even want 2 be on your feet.

So. I just ran 5 miles in a new pair of Nike Invincible Run 3s. The shoe was not too big for you as some have suggested. For some very strange reason the heed counter is shallow. It just doesnt come high enough to totally secure the heel which is very unfortunate. They made a great shoe just ok with this simple oversight. People will love these and will likely give that low heel counter a pass because of zoomx ride but this shoe does not lock down well and can now only be used for slow slow recovery days.

Stick or sew some moleskin to the heel lol. I bought Invincible 3s for warmer weather since my v3 More run too hot and I dont like how plush it is but cant complain for a 60 dollar purchase. Might give the invincible one more run before considering an alternative. Review the Razor 4, might go back to skechers but waiting on the speed beast.

You know, I really wanted to like this shoe. I was able to fix the heel slipping after figuring out the lacing. However, I would pronate on the top of my foot. My invincible 2 has 250 miles & honestly feels a lot better than the 3😅 I saw a few 2s at the Nike clearance store for $80 so I might buy another pair..

I made a BIG mistake buying (online) these .5 smaller than my size because I tried my actual size (9.5 US) at the store and my heel did sliped out, and they didnt had the 9 to try, well I thougt maybe this model is not a “true sizer” … so I made a decision… wrong! I ised it once only 7km snd my toes were crying for help!!! got a blister on my arch,,, well, Im finally trying to sell them bye!

I bought the invincible 3s in Navy. What a POS shoe they are. Everything possible to screw up a running sneaker.....Nike did. Hugely wide, completely unstable, upper is plastic crap, less interior cushioning, uncomfortable, worse ventilation and looks 10 times better online on images and videos. People were saying, is that a heightened weird shoe. No carbon plate and forefoot is awful. ZoomX gets dirty and wrinkles. There is a reason they tried to stabilize the shoe. Let's charge 180 plus for it. I didn't buy it fir running. I buy real running shoes to run in. I bought it for comfort and looks and it looks like a clown shoe that is so unstable with that foam. It is like Nike was purposefully clowning the consumer. They do that often. I even want to return them after a week and I never return shoes. I didn't even want to wear them for looks. It's like you are wearing special shoes for clubbed feet. Holy wide to try and stabilize that crappy marshmallow. I would even just wear these around the house but, they aren't even that comfortable to walk in. Show how wide the POS is. I'd give these a 3.8.
