Great video. My question is about lifters who do not take PEDs. For us, will such high rep ranges stimulate growth? I have always been told, heavy weights and compound movements are for growth on a lifter who does not take PEDs. Thanks for you content as always Seth!
@SethFeroceOfficial8 жыл бұрын
refoom Great Question. Now here comes the short rant. Lol You can be told anything. Both ends of the spectrum on anything. It is up to you to figure it out. Just like everything else in the world. If the same thing worked for everyone, everyone would look the same, the same Workouts would work, the same workouts would give all he same results and we know that they don't. Now there are a ton of other variables that come into play but from a training perspective but DO NOT take everyone's word.....Listen! But don't let that be the deciding factor. You have to do it to see if it works. Hence why I put out this type of stuff. It's all about having fun, trying new stuff and benefiting from your work. I trained naturally for 7 years. And I had a similar Wild mentality then as well. Lol that shouldn't stop you from pushing your limits and seeing what you can do. Just make sure your hydration and food and supplementation is on point. I will address this type of question in a video coming up. Great question, thanks for the comment brother! Hope this helped !

If you could ever show us some before and after pictures of PEDs I think that would be awesome if it isnt asking too much! The closest thing we have is Mark Bell's Pre/Post PED pictures and he was a powerlifter not a bodybuilder! Thanks for the awesome content Seth!
@joeharrell83638 жыл бұрын
refoom yeah high reps are beneficial even for natural lifters. There are 3 things that stimulate hypertrophy: mechanical tension, muscular damage, and metabolic stress. Higher rep ranges and short rest periods cause metabolic waste products to accumulate in the muscle. The body signals the muscles to adapt in hopes of preventing future accumulation. Hope this helps!
@thelastshallbefirst36537 жыл бұрын
I've also found as a natural that by lifting heavy and mainly doing compounds we are far more at risk of being injured, because we do not recover as fast. They key that I'm finding is to go heavy sometimes, but volume will help make gains in muscle, is far easier on the joints, and helps minimize injury. Plus, for many who mainly stick to heavy compound movements they never get a full mind muscle connection with the muscle they're trying to work. Instead they use every other muscle to move the weight. That is why there is such a drastic difference in the look of a bodybuilder and powerlifter. Hope this helps, God bless you all!

Hey man. This video was awesome and super helpful. We all have different day jobs but do you best to drink plenty of water, have a consistent sodium intake (not too much and not too little, consistent throughout the day). But as for nitric oxide Supplements. Blackstone Labs HYPE is my favorite. Before I was sponsored by BSL i was buying them as a consumer. It is my favorite. Use my Code Seth10 for discount. Follow me on IG and every now and then usually once a month they run a 30% off sale on all supps. In fact today they are running a buy one get one free deal for Xmas. Thanks for the views and comments guys!! 💪💪

+Seth Feroce Seth, I love your videos and your honesty even though I disagree with you in some aspects like for example having your pinky higher than your thumb while elevating your arm. I think the risk/reward ratio is just not good with it. Have you planned to do a video about the different approaches to nutrition (Intermittend Fasting, ketogenic, renegade etc) in the future? I found for myself that I function the best when I am on a "fasting" schedule. I am really interested in what you think about all those different ways to approach nutrition.

Tried this today, worked great. Normally I would be doing heavy barbell presses or dumbbells, but instead went with this high volume light weight approach. The most beneficial aspect was I had to mimic your form with the side, front, and rear delt raises, and your "limp wrist" comment coupled with keeping the elbows above the weights and feeling it for 30 reps made all the difference. The rope face pulls were great for the rear delts.

Thanks a lot. Today I just felt the training for my shoulder after many months of nonuseful limited exercise. Thanks again.

I don't think doing 40 sets for shoulders (if you're natural) is a good idea. No?

Billy Joe I do it all the time. Seen great results. In fact on most of my workouts 40 sets is pretty low. Gotta train like a hoss

Wow. I've had friends on some heavy cycles before but could never do anywhere near 40 sets....and you say you are natural?

I personally like doing volume and his approach, you just have to eat correctly stay hydrated and get plenty of rest, it doesn't matter wether you are on gear or not it depends what you do before and after in terms of what I said before, I let my body tell me when it's ready to pack it up and get a shake in, I followed bodybuilding plans online like do 3 sets of this for this many reps, when i started just breaking loose like Seth and pushing myself for more volume I noticed better gains

You could train shoulders every single day if you wanted to. You just have to spread the volume. And of course, dat der celltech helps with recovery and growth as well lol

I CAN do 40 sets. The questions is, if it's optimal for building muscle?

+Seth Feroce Just gotta say man I've watched a few people over the last year like Athlean X, Scott Herman etc etc, and as good as they are, I feel like you are much easier to understand. You go into depth in a way for most of us to to gather the proper information we need. I've been watching and rewatching your shoulder videos lately, and my shoulders have never burned so much. I may have over looked, but I didn't see a dumbbell shoulder workout. If you ever had the time, it would be nice to see what you think could be the best dumbbell shoulder workout using your methods. Thanks man!
