I’m guessing when they said Buu Arc Piccolo Vs Kid Buu, they were talking about Piccolo during the entirety of the Buu Arc. Piccolo was stated to never stop training, so we can assume that he continued to train after the cell games. Buu Arc Piccolo might be on the same level as Perfect Cell because during the cell games, Piccolo was able to somewhat contend with Cell Jr’s so he should be stronger in the Buu arc but he’s still getting fodderized by Kid Buu. Piccolo got spit on by Dabura so Kid Buu annihilates.

Dabura used his spit on Piccolo, a move which was implied to have been able to affect SSJ2 Gohan as well. Supreme Kai was also scared of enemies like Pui Pui, who was fodderized by base Vegeta. Not saying Buu Saga Piccolo > Perfect Cell at all, but those specific statements can be refuted.

@@clipz4430 I've seen stuff like that, but it's a small minority & sounds like those people were upset they didn't get a 1:1 remaster of the game with updated visuals instead of an actual remake. It's still an amazing game, it just goes against their preferences and what they wanted the game to be. There were probably some people at the time who felt the same way about the addition of Lisa Trevor in the Resident Evil 1 remake instead of it being 1:1. I don't believe any of the FF7 Remake changes were poorly executed either. Just seems like a preference thing between wanting a remaster & a remake.

In defense of Piccolo, El Manga Legendario's assertion about Shin's power is not a factual confirmation. They say it's only their deduction, based on how scared and how much caution he has regarding Dabura. So it's pretty much a topic they think is debatable in itself. Piccolo is definitely weaker than Shin however (Daizenshuu statement), who is also weaker than Base Saiyans, it seems (scared of Pui-Pui, who Base Vegeta slaughtered. Alternatively, there is a statement that compares the three base saiyans to the other half needed to awaken Buu). And even Base Gohan is on-par with his Cell Games Base Form (Daizenshuu statement), so... yes, I think Piccolo loses badly. This doesn't mean Piccolo isn't strong, just that Goku, Gohan and Perfect Cell are major power-cliffs in the Cell Arc. It might be possible to argue for a better placement for Piccolo, but it's hard.

It’s really weird scaling Buu Saga Piccolo, cause like he’s blatantly stated to be weaker than Shin who is equalish to Cell Games Goku, but if you take into account that when Gotenks defuses in Buu Piccolo’s weights becomes his new prominent feature I feel like that implies that Piccolo>Trunks>Goten who is equal to Gohan (not ssj2) at the start of the arc and that Gohan is equal to his Cell Games counterpart who is stronger than CG Goku?? Even more bizarre is that the Goten and Trunks who Piccolo is stronger than trained for months in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so they’d both be stronger than Gohan was

There's a huge misconception.. Shin is not Weaker then Base Saiyans.. again he was simply cautious of the enemies that they faced and ainply overestimated them while he underestimated the saiyans.. there's no indication of pui pui and Yakon are even that powerful the first place. There's no proof and no arguments that Saiyans in Base Form are even that Strong.

@@elpopman2055 There is. Base Goku and Vegeta are somewhat relative to SSJ2 Gohan, since Goku could swing the Z Sword without transforming, while at the start Gohan needed SSJ2 to lift and swing it. Not only that, but in the Z Anime, Base Goku scales to Pikkon who is capable of one-shotting Super Perfect Cell, and we also have Vegeta being confident in winning the Tournament without transforming, despite the fact Piccolo is taking part on it. Base Saiyans > Piccolo and Shin is not unsupported. In regards to the Pui-Pui and Yakon ordeal, while Shin may be extremely cautious, he's by no means an idiot. He should be aware of how strong these enemies are, and he also sensed Gohan powering-up in the Tournament... yet he still thinks their best chance in ganging up in these dudes with all they have. I think Base Saiyans (perhaps not Gohan) > Shin a very consistentent stance.
