Guys listen up! I dont know why many teachers/tutors don't teach this, but I have an amazing formula for finding the median. Crossing it out manually is lengthy, hectic and a thing where there are a lot of chances of you messing it up, Instead, use this formula (n+1)/2, whatever this formula gives out, that is the value of the term number on which you'll have to go to the frequency table and just pick the data value. Easy peasy . And this can also be used when there are odd numbers. Hope this helps.

Yes, this formula definitely works. It’s a little weird when you have even number sets because you still need to remember to take the average of the two middle numbers. For whatever reason, I find that students who use that formula tend to get median wrong more often. I don’t know why. It’s something about the way they learned it, I guess. But the way you describe it 100% correct.
