Having a residential minimum sounds like a great way to avoid nickel and dimers

I must say, you're the only guy/gal out there really telling it like it is. I use all your videos to train my crews. Love it! #washon

Can you elaborate on pole work safety? I been looking into electrocuted safety measures and I need some advice from the pro’s. Are the wires that go to the roof of homes dangerous? Whatever advice you have I will use, thanx.

I would for sure talk to like an electrician about that our waterfed poles are carbon fiber so they would shock the s*** out of anybody if they hit the wrong pole I would never recommend letting your employees work too close to power lines of any kind I think that most power to homes is underground around my area and the lines going from Poles to houses our phone lines so they're not that dangerous but I would not feel comfortable giving electrocuted advice to anybody.... hope that helps! and if you're working with polls carbon fiber are the best unless you're only doing up to three stories then you'd probably be much safer with a fiberglass Pole

@@ccwindowcleaningllc.4706 damn I see, yea I seen like 2-3 wires go into peoples homes in some areas, and I don’t think it’s safe to do any type of Pole work near them. I guess I should just let the homeowner know we will have to skip that particular window. So for the underground wires, there is no need to worry about which pole I use?

My minimum is a hundred bucks even if it's three or four windows I had a lady one time that wanted three windows cleaned I charged her a hundred bucks

I counted 8 panes myself. If the glass is framed then it's a pane of glass. Now if it's french I count as a window and add $3 to $5 per side depending on how many panes are involved.

Dude you're overthinking it! You can charge $1,000 for three panes of glass if you feel like the client is in the mood to do it and you are not in the mood to charge any less, Just look at a job see if you have the tools to do it and the desire and just charge a fair price based on what the client wants

@@ccwindowcleaningllc.4706 I understand where you're coming from but to have a formula for pricing will make things much easier when bidding and clients won't feel jipped if some of them know each other and start talking.

Everyone else is making good money why shouldn't people in the service industry. If someone is willing to pay more then that is the price.

Question.Who's your preferred vendor for buying supplies?
@ccwindowcleaningllc.47066 жыл бұрын
ABC window cleaning and J racenstein have always been very good, J racenstein is going to be more expensive almost across the board, but they typically have the best water fed Pole selection such as Gardner which is all I use, when you want to restock on rubbers and towels ABC window cleaning is usually pretty quick and their website is far better than J racenstein..., J racenstein Southern California is only about an hour and a half north of me so when I am want to make a big purchase I drive up there and spend the day sitting in their office and having them bring down supplies to me so I can actually hold them, they don't give me any discounts for bringing people to them though I have had several people use them because of my recommendation, which is why I can easily recommend ABC Window Cleaning Supplies as my number one go-to, if you're going to purchase anything expensive you should definitely let me have my two cents on which one to purchase from... towels, rubbers, channels, handles, blades go to Home Depot, poles go to Home Depot, the list goes on and on thank you for your question the answer took me about 60 seconds, so it's no trouble

Hey, I’m at lunch watching your video. Off the top of my head, why don’t you send the kids (employees) to the below minimum jobs and profit share with them?
@ccwindowcleaningllc.47066 жыл бұрын
Because they are busy doing jobs that have a much higher profit share we have enough work, and the secret is if you fish for big fish eventually you get full of big fish if you think that fishing for smaller fish will get you more fish it will at the beginning but you will eventually be full... and what do you want to be full of?
