Setting up "InControl" on our Land Rover Defender 2020 - what could possibly go wrong ?

Try, double click the lock Button on the key fob so the alarm is set. mine done that then after I alarmed it it was fine and the asleep turned off.

I tried this sort of today - well i parked it up overnight -locked it - unlocked it this morning and it works... was it the locking ? or the time ? not sure... look out for the next video where you get a shout out - and i pinned your comment to the top !

This app is a great example of how OEMs add features just to have them on a sheet. Not all car apps are equal. Not all massage/ventilated seats are equal. Not all lane keeping assists are equal. But there is currently no measure of how good features are, just a yes/no if a vehicle has them, so consumers will see it in the option list and think “oh just like a Tesla/S-class/etc” when that’s not the reality

Hey try to set up the cars wifi and after it works and u can surf the web do an update and that should take it off sleep mode it worked for me on my 2020

Hi - yes i can use this on the Sport L494 which is really nice - on the overnight ferry i set the heater to come on and warm the car - super nice !

Heads up displays are really only cool if you’ve never had one before. I promise you the novelty wears off quickly! You’re not missing out!

Aaarrgghhh....I got on board message 'licence expired'...nobody told me I needed to purchase a further licence (had car 18 months). Now I've been told to update the on board computer with a mobile signal (don't have mobile signal in my remote area). THEN I have to put my cars Sim Card into my computer to download updated maps...errr.....no sim reader on my Mac. I need my computer AND a mobile signal to do all the necessary to update my on board computer licence but as no mobile signal in my area I have to drive to where I can pick one up at which point I have no wifi access for my home computer which, as already stated, has no sim card reader anyway....I give up. I thought the digital world was supposed to make everything easier when in fact all it does is add multiple layers of things you have to do and adds multiple layers of stress. I give up....going to have a lie down :(
