Sharon Hwang that’s great! I just got my five budgies yesterday but I’ve had others for years. Be careful if you clip their wings. I had six parakeets total at first and one of them died of a heart attack when we were clipping his wings :(. I recommend going to a vet if you want to clip wings since it makes it easier to train. Not clipping their wings ok too since thy are born to fly after all. Good luck

I give you a few Tipps :) Remove the food bowl with the hood. Budgies can get stuck in there and die. If you dont bieleve me: i have Pictures. Also remove those wood perches. Wood perches are good, BUT they have to be in different Size.(thick) Another Tipp is to dont give foodsticks because they have Sugar. Sugar can get your budgies fat and sick. Sugar can also make Leverproblems :/ But all in all you treat your budgies pretty good😁

Instead of lining the slide out tray with papers (that do not cover the edges) a better way is to slide the tray inside a plastic bag, then slide the tray in under them (as long as there is a floor above the tray so they aren't walking on plastic.) Then, when it's time to clean the cage and change the bag, just slide the tray out, gently invert the bag as you remove it, discard, cover tray with fresh bag, slide tray back into place. It's a BIG time and work saver, and it keeps your cage looking brand new. :)

I love budgies so much! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Ever since I started watching this channel, I’ve always wanted a budgie!!! I wanted a budgie for 3-4 years now. Idk how long..I just find birds so amusing, like I want to put one on my finger and care for it and all. I had a budgie when I was small,but I didn’t find birds so amusing. I was like 4 or something. I was so careless, like I tried to grab it and then it flew over my room, and then fell behind my bed. Now, I feel so bad and a fool for that. It died.. Now I really want a budgie again!! I’ve done so much research, I know what it needs, and I’m a really good kid in school with good grades. I just don’t know how to ask my parents for one. I’m just shy.. and for some reason I think it’s dumb to ask, even though it’s not. The worst they could say is no, but I just feel so scared that they’ll say no and that I’m not ready for one. I have to prove that I am.. Someday I will.. but Alex, if you’re reading this and have a kid or something, please do a video on how to convince your parents to get you a budgie. Please Alex.. I need help, and I really want a budgie.. sometimes I cry a bit to get one.. just help.. please

Here are a few questions how many dowel perches should you have in a cage (the ones that come with a cage) 2: what’s the minimum cage size for a single budgie? 3: shouldbirds have a mirror in there cage? 4: what food diet are they on 5: are pet store employees the ones that know a lot about birds ok so we are done ✅ now if you got 3 wrong don’t get a bird or do more research if you got 4-5/5 then get a bird but just explain you done research and you got good grades and that h have done research
