Setting up the BreAro 5kw Diesel Heater for Beginners!

12:30 I hope you did not melt the seal at the bottom of your garage door with the from the exhaust pipe. BTW, I wonder how much, how often, and what kind of maintenance it will need.

Thanks for the concern. The seal is good. As long as you start it up and shut it down properly the maintenance should be minimum.

I am currently installing a diesel heater, just need to finish drilling a hole, for the exhaust lol. I used my drill, but didn't have the extension attachment, so I couldn't reach through the insulation for the end of the wall, haha! Furthermore, I have a similar diesel heater, mine is 8kw I believe, all white with a remote. Hope it will heat up the space good, and won't use much fuel, Lord willing.

Bought the 8K version. What kind of battery are you using to run this? I had a lot of trouble trying to run this off an Ecoflow River 2 Pro (Lithium Ion battery station), which has a max output of only 10AMPs. After reviewing the docs for the heater, I noticed it says 20 or greater AMPs.🤦🏻‍♂️ Assuming I need to run this off a separate deep cycle battery? Looking for recommendations from anyone.

I use a 12.8v lifepo4 100ah battery. You will have no issues starting the heater.

How much did it raise your garage temperature? I was waiting for that.

i wish they had a good wind power turbine thing that is cheap and works good so yeah theres a few thing i need to still buy and then ill be all set to go for a few years

I'm very hesitant about doing wind power. I like the idea of producing at night though.
