That and we have 24th/25th century people in the 21st century seemingly knowing what their doing (the pulled off a good old fashioned caper story in episode 6) and yet the movie star trek 4 voyage home that it borrows heavily from has kirk and crew in the 20th century not fitting in at all. And then picard somehow knows Kirk's enterprise went back in time and when he brings up this idea no one says oh who is kirk, or how do you know or anything? Despite all that yes I do like picard but it does have its story issues. Like phasers that look like guns and picard being ok with a borg and hugging Q

Judging by the 24th and 25th century images of urban life in San Francisco, traffic still flows in the same direction as it does in the 21st century. That's the thing about time travel in Star Trek: all the cast acts as if they never saw a movie or went to a historical recreation of life in the past. There's like a billion references to Renaissance festivals everyday, and I'm not even into that time period.

Raffi will be killed by Q but the death will be mysterious and will not obviously point to him because Elnor will come back to life and turn against Raffi. Seven will die at the hands of the Borg Queen. Some writers say by being strangled or by being tossed into space by vacuum. Both of them will die and be replaced. It will change the dynamic of the cast but the character Picard will be the focus and some old cast members from TNG even from the original series will make appearances on the show in the near future.

I'm trying to understand why they thought the best option was to just steal the car. Those cops hadn't even seen them yet. They could have just snuck away with the information they had and found transportation some other way. Heck, they could've just ripped the computer out and taken that. Would've been less conspicuous than committing grand theft auto and starting a high speed pursuit.

I mean, in the 25th century, they probably find the idea of a whole system for arresting people on the wrong side of a border of a continent insane to begin with. The fact that there are as many as there are in 21st century California is probably mind boggling to them.

@@MMuraseofSandvich Actually at the time it got international praise and it was the first star trek movie to do so successfully in theaters. By todays standards no producer would have let nimoy write and direct such a film without any clear bad guy and no murders.

Making 7of9 a lesbian was the ultimate betrayal to young Star Trek men everywhere. I've given this show every opportunity to impress me but it continues to shock me. Hateful, violent women, (Raffi) tearing down male egos everywhere they look. ICE officers portrayed as brutal thugs? Picard being emancipated at every turn. Roddenberry would've hated this shit
