Sty first thank you for all your free video lessons they are a major help to a none player. Second great that your coming to the UK with your Europe Tour. But gutted that your are not coming to Liverpool ( see Cavern web site ) they have a Beatles Ukulele event. Would you consider coming to the City and doing a concert and work shop at the City’s concert hall, with free guide, me. Question when your not playing for others, and are just mellowing out. What do you like to play.
@UkuleleZen6 жыл бұрын
Christopher, thanks so much for your message. I am also quite bummed that our tour is not spending more time in the U.K. (!) But hey, I just go where I'm told & play the guitar in that unit :) As far as coming to Liverpool, it would be a dream come true! Always wanted to visit! Message me through my website - would be interested in seeing what could be worked out for a workshop & concert there. Cheers. Write me via this link so I can contact you directly...thanks! www.stufuchs.com/contact

P.S. When I'm just playing for my own enjoyment? Jeez...hard to say just one. Here's a little list: 1) I play my classical guitar, 2) I improvise freely on flutes, guitar, uke & stringed toys, didjeridoo. 3) I play Beatles & other great songwriter's material (and try to get others to join in)...4) I like to play drums. I also like to sit in a hammock, do absolutely nothing and let the birds sing me a song. So, how about you? What's you favorite relaxing pastime?
@christophersmb6826 жыл бұрын
Ukulele Zen Stu thanks for your reply hope to be around should you ever come to Liverpool. If you ever do I am your contact, and any information you need I will find it for you. It’s so helpful to name the string and the fret- for us oldies who can’t see what you are doing on the screen so well. ;) I know all of the chords, so no need to call those out, but when you move fingers from one string to the other, it’s good to vocalize what you are doing clearly and slowly at least once. Thanks for considering this.

For "jonny b cool" couldnt you not use the ring finger on the 5th fret and just pluck the bottom string to get the same "a" sound? Seems easier. That way you're just plucking straight down three strings leading into your first riff. I wanted to ask because maybe there is some reason why you set it up the way you did.
