Holy wow you are absolutely killing this series! I love how each of the looks have turned out and how you're making back stories and explaining your ideas behind each one. I also really love the bonus footage because life can be pretty defeating sometimes (especially during the pandemic) but you just have to keep going! I know you've tried to do this series in the past once or twice, and I am so glad to get to see the whole thing come together now. I always imagined envy as a set of young twins. Think about it, one kid always wants what their sibling has. It's not like greed, where they want everything. I've seen kids pitch fits over wanting their sibling's toy, get it, and then discard it in anger and cry out for the toy their sibling got as a replacement. That's envy. I want what you have, not because i want it, but because you have it.

Some people that have KZbin channels really don’t do much to get where they are. That’s one thing I admire about you, Lex. You actually do a lot of work to get all the views, subscribers, and “perks” from KZbin. I’ve done some amateur make up for Halloween and I can tell anyone first hand how long just basic face paint and adhesives take let alone all the crazy details you do. Another excellent addition to an awesome series! And seriously Lex, thank you for including your setbacks, mistakes, and difficulties in your videos like this. Too often I think people look at established, talented artists and think, "They're perfect, everything they touch turns to gold, I could never be like them." Showing us that even someone as successful and extraordinarily skilled as you are still sometimes has an off day or struggles with a character or piece is so valuable for aspiring creators. And despite the troubles you encountered along the way, Envy still turned out phenomenally! And darn it, now you've put the idea of drawing this series into my head...

Even if you think that it’s your “ weakest” concept, you still executed it beautifully. All of the slip ups just make it more satisfying to see such a wonderful product come out. You could say that I envy your skills with body paint. And it’s a cool jewel concept, I thought it would be that no matter what you did, you would always have “ eyes for another” for lack of better words and take for granted what you had. I do wonder what this creature would look like if it had horns that actually looked like fangs. Almost translucent horns that curl ever so slightly near the top, killing its victims once it has no use for them.

I loved this entire series!! Peacock was my favorite but this is a close 2nd. I actually liked that the jewels didn't cover all over. From your story, I imagined that as you worked harder to get the gems, more and more and more would over take the Snake demons body making you even more envious! Your storytelling is so good too. Envy doesn’t just cover possessions, it is also possible to be envious of someone’s talent, or someone’s close relationship, or someone’s beauty, etc. Envy encapsulates anything you wish you had that someone else possesses. Very cool series! It really is amazing what all you can do with makeup!
