Anyone messed with factory seconds? Ive been thinking about a pm2 for my everyday. I also do not plan on warrenty any knife i get

Factory seconds are generally just cosmetic faults like scratches and dings so I imagine it’s not a huge deal. I would say it’s worth it

Is crew wear more stainless than M4 or does it keep an edge longer?

CruWear is less susceptible to rust than M4, and it's easier to sharpen. But it doesn't hold an edge quite as long and it's not quite as tough as M4.

​@@pocketknifecollector CruWear is tougher than M4 and slightly less wear resistant. A bit more stainless than M4. Besides 3V, CruWear is the toughest high alloy steel with decent edge retention. It's a little better than MagnaCut in both toughness and edge retention but it's not fully stainless. If I don't care about stainlessness it's CruWear and K390 all day for me. M4 is closer to K390.

​@@pocketknifecollector when comparing m4 and cruwear your right about cruwear being more stainless and easier to sharpen and M4 having better edge retention but m4 isn't tougher then cruwear.

My experience using and sharpening Spyderco’s s90v has been consistently good.
