When a man uses criticism or sarcasm to point out my flaws, that is an instant turn-off, and a red flag that he has a narcissistic streak. Also saying yes to a guy I'm not attracted to usually ends badly. That's how I ended up with my ex-husband. Actually it was my mom who pressured me to commit to him. Isn't there just a nice man who can forgive my needy moments, and who likes closeness and affection? All this strategy and GAME gives me a headache. And most men are so profoundly selfish anyway. Some men have feminine and masculine characteristics.... like the tenor singing a romantic song doing romantic gestures butt you see in his face he understands what the song is about, he understands the harmony Its like having empathy for people not just for one gender but both.artistry, technical stuff or the passion of it.... Maybe even athletes may have feminine and masculine who knows...For example I like German tenor Patrick Grahl and even the fact he doesnt use social media...but he sees the kind of person who isn't just good looking but very calm, intelligent and entertaining in same time...and doesnt make himself look like he is better than everybody else..He has only8 followers at youtube..which is good for him, His success isnt based on social media success except his website... Maybe even women may take inspiration from him..to be more nice, feminine, natural. His voice is charming and gentle. It seems like if they have this gentle feminine characteristics along with masculinity...they have great intuition for nice things and music and art...And maybe such people get good behavior from other colleagues.

I believe that technology has destroyed the dating game. A lot of men, and women feel they have a lot of choices now. If your not giving it up, the one down the street will. Men are not courting women anymore, and its really hard for black women in my opinion, unless you are dating outside of your race. These are just my opinions, from my own experiences.
@TheFleurChic8 жыл бұрын
Yes it's hard for black women. Well I'm muslim so it's quite easier because men are still courting women; we can have an arranged marriage (which is not forced, by the way. It's like my friend telling me: "I know this man, you guys should meet" then I choose if I want to meet him or not; then we meet with our families and talk and get to know each other but we don't "date", we don't touch and stuff lool) . But yeah I agree it"s more difficult! Why is it different when you get to know someone from outside your race ???
@TheLovely9908 жыл бұрын
A lot of times the different races or cultures clash, because of a value system, or because of racism. I've dated outside my race, but I also made sure I was not an experiment. I use to work with a young lady from India, and she never dated her husband, they just got married at sometime.
@TheFleurChic8 жыл бұрын
Miss V Ohhhh I see, it makes sense. I guess it's different for us muslims because even though we come from all over the world - like Indonesia which is home to the biggest muslim population, pakistan, west africa, india, egypt,etc - we share the same values (belief in God, His prophets like Jesus, importance of family, honouring all humanity wether black or white, etc) so we don't care about race - some do - so there is no races clash because well we're just muslims with different skin colours and different treasures (cultures). For example, yes Muhammad Ali or Malcom X were black but they were muslims so the difference is just the surface, it adds to the beauty of the individual, and deep inside we're the same, lol that's how we think ! I'm black too by the way, and I don't know why but a lot of men find us intimidating lool, I wonder why?? maybe the media... Oh that's cute! Yes that's what we do, we only 'date' after we get married and it's awesome, the love keeps growing :). ps: I apologize, english is my 3rd language, I mostly speak french :D

Thats true regarding when a men chooses to work hard. When my husband I met and fell in love he didn't even have a job then it was the early 90s and there wasn't any available but a couple years later during our engagement he found a job in construction and from there I helped him get his licenses and he became an engineer. My husband worked hard to give us a good life together but he worked so much he worked 80 hours a week he barely made any time for his family and for us as a couple there was a huge price ,he past at 54 He didn't start that way. It's nice to know that a man can take care of himself and willing to work but shouldn't work so little, that he makes his family suffer and he shouldn't work so much that he makes his family suffer. What a great video! Thank you James and the very insightful John Gray. I think here "Top 10 men" means "men who are leaders in their own field." All the tips are very helpful, they're: 1. Location location location. Be where "Top 10 Men" are. 2. Don't be easy to get. Follow the truth in your heart. Go slow, let him earn your response. 3. Be clear what your values are (in your mind, at least.) 4. Don't be needy. Let go of desperation. Continue to create a series of positive dating experiences. 5. Find happiness from inside. Joyful people are attractive people. Create a life that is full and rich. when he's talking, say sincerely "Wow that makes sense." "Good idea!" "You're right!" Make the guy thinks the good idea is his. 6. Never ever give a man more than he gives to you, because you will appreciate him less. Men bond through doing, women bond through receiving. Men want to earn it. 7. Dating advice: talk more than the man. Remember it's NOT an interview, it's a conversation! Stimulate and engage.

Free advice: Create situations to allow him to prove himself to you and finally really see if your love interest deserves to come into your castle. Example: mention that you have car problems, see what he’s willing to do for you jus to come and help you. If he’s not willing to be your hero, just let him go. It’s a real moment of truth but only if you are willing to see the reality.

@@AuroraNatureSounds Easy, mention to him that you’re going through some financial problems. Very casually, nothing deep. If he asks if there’s anything he can do to help, and he actually sends you the money then he’s your man. Don’t take advantage by asking him for an exorbitant amount of money, maybe one month’s rent, and no more. The last thing you want to do is to damage a person who might care a great deal for you. And by all means, do pay him back!

And don’t feel bad for using money as a revealing factor of his true feelings, because: 1- You will return his money 2- It is the only way he can play your hero in a long distance relationship. A man who cares for you wants to be your hero, remember that. If he doesn’t care, he’ll pretend he can’t hear you and you’ll never hear from him again. They were prominent in my city and their children are just as nice. Everyone here knows who they are. One would slip me two $100 bills occasionally, and say, "Here, go buy yourself a nice sweater." They dressed simply; there was nothing ''flashy'' about them; and they hated rude, unkind women. They were/are very kind, down to earth, humble, and friendly -- at least when I waited on them. Ok now I’m at 11:00 (I’m never gonna get through this), and John just brought up his famous old “women just don’t want advice” crap that I heard him say 20 years ago. It’s only now as an adult professional that I fully understand why that always felt wrong to me. The truth is women are fine with advice, and often seek it out. What men, women, and anything around or in between don’t like is UNSOLICITED “advice” from people who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. If I talk about my job and some dude starts “giving me advice” that makes it clear he barely even understands what I do, then yes, I will become frustrated. You’ve cracked the code!!! I seek out meaningful, valid advice all the time. What I don’t need is condescension from a man (or woman 🤷🏻♀️) who thinks all I need to do is follow his ill-informed advice to be happier with whatever situation I’m complaining about. THAT’S where “just listen to me” comes from. How TF can your advice be valuable when you clearly don’t listen?
@John-do9to3 жыл бұрын
These rules r not set in stone. I have dated 2 millionaires for fun. I am a plain girl. I love working and these guys resented it. They were happy when my work situation was over but that made me unhappy so I just broke up with them. I don't care about anyone that much. So most important is don't put a man first

i have met the most intriguing individuals if you may, in inconspicuous place, so yah, when I did not go to those place for that reasons, like modest sushi restaurants, certainly not in that right side of town so to speak, I believe we attract what we attract as a result of our energy or vibration, and it is not something that we do using our minds, it just happens. This is something that happens and it has to do with a sense of equilibrium, not conscious decisions and with self sense of fullness and abundance, not looking at all just being instead, it seems a flow just sweeps certain things a persons way

Thank you for making some absolutely critical points! I didn't make a lot of money and I didn't make babies. Through my dating years men couldn't imagine how I could turn down a fabulous trip or a bunch of gowns and sumptuous outings. And the big money ones suddenly would find themselves on foreign turf when they could see that I was unfazed by theiri holdings. The fact is, I have a hard time just getting through a lunch with someone who is not an interesting person -- who is "dimensionally deficient". The guys with the goods needed show off the pretty girl they scored. Forty- five years later I'll hear young men talking about beautiful women - like children in awe- and they are apparently still, as ever, absolutely smitten over beauty and the possibility of a "score" in "landing" one of them. And it's all the more of a win now, when, in a major city there is a plethora of very bright and financially secure women. The guy can't just be Mr.Charisma with a few bucks in his pocket. NONETHELESS, when I see now, walking through the park on a summer's evening, a pretty girl wearing a lovely dress (and heels, yet) and who has spent between one and two hours putting it all together, arm in arm with a guy in a T shirt I just call him out: "Look at this gorgeous girl. Do you know how much effort she has put into this date and you -- YOU show up in ratty jeans and a T"?? She L0ves it and he recognizes that maybe the admonishment has some merit. It's delivered in good humor so we all come out just fine. Well, now... tymz is tough and social gestures are surely hampered, but I'm nonetheless not feeling hopeful about people meeting socializing and breaking all up by way of tapping at a keypad. What now, I dunno. Over six years on, most of what transpired here is really relevant through a power- packed very successful exchange. Thank you again.
@chris5320082 жыл бұрын
the admonishment is no girl should spend 2 hours beautifying themselves for anyone if she takes care of her health the other things take care of themselves men r naturally attracted to healthy specimens if u don t take of u reself no amount of cosmetics can cover the flaws a healthy girl without makeup is more beautiful than one unhealthy with 2 hours worth of coverage
