Re the tailored trousers. If like me you’re not into elastic waistbands then the Seamwork Marrett is a great option. It has pleats in the front, waistband and read invisible zip closure.

The Fibremood Madou looks like a perfect match for the oversized shacket that you showed from ASOS….🤔 I really enjoyed this, and I’m pleasantly surprised to see that I either already own the right pattern for the style or I’ve already made it 😉

Thanks Kate! I have pretty much spent my last few summers in shorts and t-shirts because of these crazy times, and not going out much (if at all). But I love looking forward to *maybe* being able to travel next year...so really appreciate your work on this. I am mostly a classics dresser, so the loose boxy jackets, swimsuits and that fabulous tshirt pattern will do the trick! And thank goodness for a slip dress that doesn't depend on an hourglass to look fab! As far as colours go, introducing one or two each season is about as adventurous as I get. And I ALWAYS make something in red or purple if I can find the appropriate fabric.

Great video as always. The the sporty bikini I would suggest Greenstyle or the new Closer Core. I think they match better for the bottoms than the cottlesloe
