Quick hack, I would sew the string going down instead of across as the bow wil then out straight rather than diagonal if that makes sense xx

As you were talking about a matching top at the beginning, I was thinking that the shirred top you are wearing would be a nice matching piece in that style too. I made that top this week. I’ve been meaning to make it since last year to match my maxi skirt. Love this tutorial, I’ll definitely be giving this a go!

❤❤ how do you get this skirt over your hips when putting it on when the measurement has to be the waist?

The total width of the skirt is double your waist measurement due to the two panels so there is plenty of ease x
