Patterns and pattern work or still amazing looking at the shapes of something what you can do a little implementing of constructive thoughts and artistry I find your work fun and interesting I adore Tina Gibbons patterns I adore the work that you are presenting the interesting clarity of artistically driven garments and I’m at that age where women even those who are pre-retirement and retired we look at our clothing a little differently we can wear what we want and yet being lovely and interesting in our government is important I’m of that generation we just love it and you presented well so happy new house and happy

Thanks jolynn I’m definitely at the age where I feel like I should dress in a way that makes me feel like me. More interested in “interesting “ than in following trends etc. thanks so much for all your encouragement 🥰

I also own an Art Deco home similar in style to yours. Ours is 1940 and it has served us really well. We have four large curved windows, metal railings around a roof deck and the same glass brick as yours. Good luck with your move. We’re getting ready to sell ours and down size

Thanks for sending me the pics and sharing your beautiful home. Downsizing is fun too. I found it a challenge (in a good way) to really make the most of our space and still have it represent us style-wise.

Congrats on buying your dream house! Thanks for the picture. It’s fab. Hope your move goes smoothly. The pants from this episode are terrific. I always learn so much from your tutorials. I’m going to use your darts, pleats, and hem facings on a pair of STG Luella pants. Thank you!

Hi, what top are you wearing with the pants you constructed? Thank you!
@kirstenroberts_studio2 жыл бұрын
Oh they are stunning. Well done. I appreciate the detail you share. Do you have a video that details how you add side pockets to pants. I've seen your cutting process on a few but not the construction process. Thank you
@thebigsewalong2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think I’ve done a video on installing the pockets but I can work on that! Thank you so much for watching and letting me know what you’d like to see. It’s very helpful!

This is a really great sew along. Can you do more TG mash ups using her free patterns? I noticed Nani Iro has other top / dress patterns. Could be really interesting. There’s a dress with an interesting standup collar. Can see this on a TG slip.

Yes I can definitely do more TG mash ups! Thanks!! 😊

I'm so happy for you! That house...I always wanted either a Craftsman with original oak or Art Deco. If I can find it, I have some Deco fabrics for pillow covers, ottomans, etc. I may even have some curtain yardage. I'll see what I can find. I will live vicariously through you, please include some shots or a video of the inside. Are the bathrooms original tile? What color? I'm hoping you landed pink or mint green. Were those noises on this video Claude dropping a Long or rawhide chew by any chance? Loved seeing his reverse end in the photo. The pants are super good!

Thank you! We were looking at craftsman houses too but nothing on the market here. The bathroom is not original tile 🥲but it was done really nicely the tile is aqua 😃I will definitely share pics of the inside when I can. 😂 yes that was Claude pulling books off the shelves in the living room. When he gets mad at me he knocks them off one by one 😂

@@thebigsewalong That made me lol! I'm telling you, I'm falling for Claude... knocking over books just cracks me up!

Thank you for such a great resource! Although subscribed a year ago, I'm now early retired and can focus on my sewing. I'm drawn to you, Ginny, because you are sewing a lot of the patterns and look I like. You've also made me want to sew by pattern - something I've not done before. (why they turn out badly). Two questions: where in the videos would you state your size or measurements. I'm needing that for the Japanese recipe pant. Also, what fabrics did you use for the Sashi opal Annie pant? If I comment on earlier videos do you see them?

Please no more boosters or shots. Lots information that they are dangerous.
