Thank you and welcome! I do hope you give this a try, it really is easy. Nothing to match up and you don't need to worry about your seam allowance. If it goes a little wonky you will be trimming it down after so there is nothing to worry about, Go for it:)

wow just wow Laura, we watched the Rompers Room on PBS (public broadcasting) and my husband and I just went through the you tube search but to no avail we didn't find Ms. Linda this was in the 60's in New Orleans, La I wonder if different areas of the US had different teachers. loved the clothes! lol well, just know this she was a lady and we all tuned in. You know back in the day when being a lady was something to be!! (still is in my book). take care

Absolutely love your videos. So clear. I am new to sewing and tho not interested in making clothing I love table runner, bags, etc. Thanks so very much for these, love what you show us. Would love it if you would do a video on "what can be done" with these rulers. I see that with a number of them, but I have no idea what all these things are! Nor how to use them. This one is so clear, but what are some of the other things you can use it for? Not understanding why it starts at 3" mark either? I'm sure it's because I am new. And, yes, you look lovely- but then, I personally think you always look lovely. :)

if you want wider pieces then you could possibly start with bottom edge instead ?? I have a ruler similar to the one you are using and have hesitated to use it. where I bought it they have done a double sided table runner ...wedges on both sides...can rightly wrap my head around that one yet . thanks for inspiring me to try
@SewVeryEasy
@SewVeryEasy 7 жыл бұрын
Oh yes! You can start on any measurement, just keep them all the same:) can you show me the other ruler you are talking about?
@Trayne1837
@Trayne1837 7 жыл бұрын
It is a ruler made by Creative Grids, it is 241/2in long and 61/2 in wide.. 15* degree triangle... it is of course all marked off rule wise... I just haven't had the gupton to use it yet... I bought it along with a pattern from Cut Loose, called a super simple double quilt as you go... but i haven't tried it yet.

Oh yes she is big. You can get them at large fabric stores. They are usually rolled in a big box on the floor. It is one of those things that are too big to be seen and to small to noticed. However I'm sure for the right price anything can be put in the mail!
