Absolutely super! I know you are 'hoping' for 400 bags for that specific charity. With your following, however, I'm guessing you may get ten times that!!!! And that's good too! Maybe same charity can use them all eventually - or maybe another charity needs same product. You are great people, supporting the public interests across the US of A. You go, Boys!

If you did two drawstrings and attached at each bottom corner you would have a backpack that would be easier to carry.

Are we filling the bags before sending them to you? Or will you guys be filling them? How many are you looking for? As easy as this project is, I'm thinking I'm good for a dozen, or so. Thanks for another great pattern/ video!!

AWESOME Tutorial!!!! I am new to sewing and I wanted to start out with something beginner friendly and easy. This is perfect!!! Thank you in advance for the video. I love it! I am going to try and make some of these today to give to friends, local shelter and love ones. I definitely need to invest in a serger now. Excited about my challenge of making these. I can use up my extra fabric now. Thanks again!

Saw this a few weeks ago and just heard you mention it again in a video. It’s 1:00am, thought just go do it, went into sewing room, knew I still had some 3/16” cotton/poly clothesline cording from mask making last year (it was too thick, and wondered what I was going to ever use it for, lol), pulled out some extra fabric yardage I had, and whipped up five in less than one hour total time! My ironing board is right next to my serger and found it super quick to iron down the 2” and back up to make the casing. Did them assembly line and they were done in no time! Will make more tomorrow morning and get them in the mail! Thanks for letting us be a part of doing something so good, and that was super fast and didn’t cost me a thing! Your video tutorial was excellent! Something else for all the sewists out there….every cancer center has a big need for “port pillows” fir the chemo patients. They’re approx 3.5” x 7.5” finished size (so double the long length, so approx 4” x 15” of fabric), insert some Velcro half way down and see inside out. Turn it right sides out, stuff gently with poly fill, fold the last raw edge in and stitch across. Plenty of KZbin videos on these! The Velcro is then strapped around the seatbelt making a soft cushion to protect their port sites from the pressure and rubbing from a seatbelt. Same concept as the covers for babies car seat straps, but just two small pieces of Velcro across the middle. I then place each one in a generic sandwich bag and deliver a bag full to my local cancer center. There is a bit of cost in the Velcro and the poly fill, but I don’t mind as I know my small cost is nothing compared to the medical bills cancer patients get. And the center and patients are soooo very thankful. I do have to work a bit to find fabric for the men that’s not flowery, haha. Just a thought!

So glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and hope to see you again soon! I'll pass the info on about the port pillows for the cancer centers. What a great idea!
