The Sex Pistols deserves to get paid.... They are the best there ever was.... They are also the best therapy...
@johnhareiel51184 жыл бұрын
Agreed. The Pistols have been on my daily playlist dealing with b*llshit. I been a fan since '91......but with adult life, my too therapy is getting in my ride and blast my Pistols playlist (along with Rancid). I get in my phase where that's all I jam on for months. Such an escape from adult life and always makes me feel like 16 with no concern in the world.

The comment about Sid from Johnny was a bit cold . Yes Sid didn't provide anything musically but Johnny himself says that he never picked members for his other band Public Image based on musical talent and that he doesn't consider himself a musician. So if he feels that way Sid provided as much as anyone else
@johnhareiel51184 жыл бұрын
Not really. Even with no musical knowledge, they at least played their own instruments, wrote the songs, as well as performed them. Sid did neither. Especially being unplugged at mostly every show. Sid doesn't equate to what The Pistols or later on PIL put out. Sid was a useless junkie.

@@johnhareiel5118 He wrote Belsen was a gas which is arguably the hardest hitting song from the pistols and whether intentional or not he developed the band’s signature song by playing the songs faster than glen and simply playing the root notes of Steve’s guitar instead of whatever fancy shit glen was doing.
