Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient Install Steps

Here are some things to help you if you are going to be installing Seymour Duncan Pickups (or any pickups really). I do skip over the Soldering because my skills aren't the greatest (more of my confidence level isn't really there). These steps should be helpful in identifying what you have and what you can do.
I understand if you don't find this helpful if you have installed pickups before. This is more geared towards someone who hasn't really installed pickups before.

I've had the same issue with every Jackson I've owned. I still love them, but man is it a pain in the ass to get the cover off of the control cavity!

Hello .. have u used any capacitor ?? I didn't get any cap included along with the pickups

I would suggest replacing the cap making sure your ratings are correct. I say this from a recent experience with my Js227-kv having the cap soldered into the pot incorrectly from the factory. You never know with the way they slap these together, Besides orange drops are not expensive. Happy playing..

$6 Canadian for an orange drop… only properly comes into the signal when the tone is dialed back. But yes Orange Drops are cheap and do give you a larger sweep than simple circle caps. Cheers -Ryan

Why my guitar tone knob is acting like volume knob with the capacitor and it sounds boomy like zero brightness in the tone whereas it sounds perfectly good without the capitor but the tone knob still works as a volume knob , i am having this problem after replacing new pickups .. please help🙏

Capacitors Don't come with pickups, generally. If your Tone Pot doesn't have one then I'd recommend grabbing something like a .22 Orange Drop. If you simply swapped out the pickups and kept the original pots that came with your guitar then there should have already been a capacitor in the tone pot. Cheers -Ryan

Good Question. I'm not quite sure of the answer, to be honest. I think the Sentient compliments the Nazgul quite well. But you can't go wrong with a '59! Cheers -Ryan

hey my nazgul doesnt fit because that longs screws on the back , you dont have this problem i see
