I'd like to add to 1:04:05; This works if you have evidence of unreliability. If a character, for example, says, "This thing is X", the argument "They could be lying about it" is TRUE, but not very CONSTRUCTIVE to conversation unless there's evidence supporting the opposite of what they're saying, or just supporting that they could be wrong/lying/misinformed/etc. But just saying "They could be lying and this thing is actually Y." isn't very strong on it's own!
