Lol Tim Rattay...Dennis Erickson as coach. What a trainwreck this era was.

Yes it was but I like the faithful still sticking with this franchise I know it's shitty right now but they will only get better over the years. I appreciate the little time Kaepernick was there but he hE moved on out of the league and all I can say is that I having faith in Jimmy G.

@@MikeP813 Bucs just need a fly ass runningback. They got most pieces in place especially on defense. I hated they let MCCoy go.

The thing I distinctly remember from this game (more accurately on ESPN NFL primetime highlights) was Andy Lee's 81-yard punt at 1:35:00 in this video.

This Niners team was absolutely horrible, the worst team in the league along with their Bay Area buddies the Raiders. They blew up their entire team after 2003 bringing their run of being relevant from 1981-2003 to a close. They weren’t respectable again until like 2009 or 2010 and they weren’t contenders again until 2011.

The niners at this time were struggling with salary cap issues $12 million in dead money.
@TheLocalLt5 жыл бұрын
David From Colorado yea which wouldn’t have been quite as much of an issue if they didn’t feed money down the kevan barlow black hole, they should have either 1) signed a better skill player for the same money and then drafted a QB with the high draft pick the next year like they did with Alex Smith, or 2) signed someone else’s backup QB as a cheap game manager with that money and then drafted a skill position guy with the high draft pick the next year

@@TheLocalLt yeah that team had to cut ties with garcia owens hearst deese and stone. They had to rely on an unexperienced team just to stay in the cap. 1998 they thought bu guaranteeing contracts to players about to retire they would buy a couple of super bowls. Didn't affect them until 2004.
@TheLocalLt5 жыл бұрын
David From Colorado yea but they clearly fucked up the rebuild and it started with Barlow, arguably continued with Alex smith who basically wasn’t good until jim harbaugh and andy reid coached him up, they hired all the wrong coaches. Singletary was the first thing they did right and they ditched him for harbaugh at a perfect moment as the team was starting to play disciplined
@davidfromcolorado52955 жыл бұрын
@@TheLocalLt true. Kevan Barlow took over midway through 2003 and played good, but became a bust in 2004.
