Valve should definitely hire you as Tutorial creator for SFM... I'm not kidding, I'm serious. You manage to save hours of work in under 10 minutes, explain everything so well that even beginners will get it easily, and, the most important part, you're not going too far into detail with each thing ,just so far that you can "figure out on your own what to do" but won't be left completely not knowing what to do next.

Thanks for taking the time to show us these tips! Teach us how to do eye movement next x) I've no idea whether to just use 2 frames for the movement or make it "stepped".

a quick tutorial on smooth animation would be nice, I can never get my animations to flow right XP
@argodaemon10 жыл бұрын
That one has been asked a bit, but is so hard to execute. Smooth and realistic are so situational. When and if I can come up with something that works, I will try.

Argodaemon Thanks I hope you can find a way, even if they are quick tips like this one,...anything to help get rid of the blockyness lol
@graemecool10 жыл бұрын
DoubleRainbowfilly i may already have something. its rooted in the graph editor and designed for a specific individual to pick up from as well as also being prity poor production quality but it may be what your looking for.

Quick question anyone Is there a way to make an animated transition between two cameras so that the first camera would transition to the location of the second camera?

Hey. I have this issue with the pony eyelids. When I try to make a poster after I used some of the angry or happy eye options, the eyes look... odd. As if the eyelid is clipping through the eye. I've tried blading the clips and selecting only one area of the timeline to animate, but the eyelids always end up looking horrible whenever I refresh the shot (or attempt to export to a poster). I simply close their eyes for a picture, and they're half open on the poster (but close when I press "play"). Do you happen to know about this problem, and possibly a solution for it?
@argodaemon10 жыл бұрын
Sometimes it takes the renderer a few frames to actually get the eyes where you want them. The higher the post quality stuff, the less frames it seems to take (due to having to calculate more per frame). For posters, obviously, you only have 1 frame, so it doesn't always work right. Best option is to export as an image sequence about 5-10 frames of the picture. The last few should have the eyes looking correct.

Argodaemon That is working just fine. Thanks a lot!

I found the organization script on the Pony SFM website...but when I downloaded it, it was a text document, so is it suppose to be like that?
@Spike464449 жыл бұрын
Also, it doesn't tell you how to download it. So if this is an actual thing, could you please give some instructions on how to download it? :D
@argodaemon9 жыл бұрын
the download contains a usermod folder. you just merge it with the SFM usermod folder. That is it. The grouping should happen automatically, but only to fresh models. Any models loaded prior to having the script will not have such.
