Nah Ed getting knock down from an uncommittal option like flicker jab is pretty huge.

@@lizzylagoon I dunno i think he's pretty strong right now. His shimmy is great and getting a better grab range is huge for it. Flicker was always one of the best pressure tools in the game and now you can choose to just win with it. Nemo has just been messing up Tokio for like 3 days since the patch with him.

@@xavierlynch1088 Ed is pretty strong with these changes. Might not seem like much. But it does alot to help the character. The throw range buff and the flicker ex cancel is crazy. And the psycho upper not failing in the corner is decent.

i was really dissapointed .. i thought ed new move was gonna be sonething u can cancel manually and even whiff punish whiff moves . but his buff to his throw game is an interesting one .. ed is basically cammy in neutral without the specials to cancel for whiff punishing. it will be easier to shimmy opponents now

@@jetstreamafif1787 i was now testing it From psycho raising, vt 1 hard knockdown, ex psycho upper and vt2 ender, u have enough frames to induce a delay crouch mixup between tick throws and shimmys By delaying your tic throw on his wakeup, u can bait wakeup 3 frame dp and still go for your mixup Its a fairly good consistent way to get damage even on a high level I might get back to grinding on ladder now from ultra diamond go up

yeah, pretty unfortunate capcom didn't give Ed a small range buff, cr.mp into upper also inconsistent for whiff punish...But final patch is here we have to move on with it...

@@jetstreamafif1787 I don’t even bother using cr mp, psycho upper for hit confirming, because it will get me killed when in whiffs. And it will whiff. Maybe change stand fierce crush counter to not make your opponent fly? Or make fully charged hp +1 or 0 on block
