Decent changes. I'm so glad they resurrected her VT1, it's my favorite VT in the whole game. I'm fine with all the nerfs, but not crazy about the charge Kunai nerf that now requires at least 2 stocked.

Happy to see she got some nerfs that really were need it for her VT2, and happy VT1 got buff, it really was the better looking and more creative of the 2, I was sad when people start using it for the nerf it got

I still think VT2 is superior, but VT1 is so much more fun. I just hate being such a squishy character with a 3 bar v-trigger

It's still really good buffered in her pokes, it's still easily confirmed by a kunai, it's still insanely fast and confirms well from low forward (which can be reaction cancelled or not based on hit/block). And it's still way cheaper than VT1, which is important considering Ibuki's a very low health character who just had her v-skill nerfed. I'd say it still has a lot going for it.

It's still a good anti air from far out, especially for neutral jumps. It can still be used as a distant punish, including for fireballs. And buffering it in pokes lets you use it as a confirm. It's still good at 80% of what it can do, you just can't cancel into it w/o confirming anymore.

@@lancergt1000 With VT2 she can still confirm or buffer any normal from max range into a a combo that deals good damage and forces a mixup situation. She can also punish any slow move mid screen by simply reacting with VT2 and you can also use VT2 to anti air. Its still an extremely good v trigger considering its only 2 bars.

Bafael Plus, it can still be made plus on block, though obviously less than it could be in Season 4, if you’re willing to spend EX Kunai on block, which is a pretty nice, though semi-expensive trick a lot of people probably forget we have in the bag! Also, it’s not all nerfs. Bomb and J. HK buffs are pretty appreciated on my end! Shinten being - on hit’s going to feel a bit weird though. I doubt it hurts TOO much though. It probably just decreases her overall “stickiness,” which seemed like their goal. Akuma nerfs also help her out indirectly too. Guile being sturdier’s going to be a bit annoying, but perhaps that’ll shift to a Necalli or G matchup for me now? Plus, Fujimura’s already shown that she’s definitely still alive, and I’ve already seen Kazunoko working on new Bomb stuff, despite pledging loyalty to Emperor Gill!

@@Bafael If you canceled the first hit with anything (kazegiri, kasumigake>raida), you would keep juggling. Hitting with both hits would reset, just like we see in your video. Bonshogeri would also work but that's about it, I believe

when i see one not named fujimura o xian winning a cpt with her i will think she is top tier, man those nerf killed her since everyone got health buff, by the way, the vt1 only get to full after she is death, 925 of stamina with no invincible antiair without a bar is the perfect recipe for a weak character, fujimura dropped her.

Carlos Fabian Abreu Valerio yea I think -2 was fair enough but -4 is really crazy. If u realize a lot of nerfs characters got in pervious seasons were reverted, I expect something like this to happen if sfv goes beyond 2020.

Even at -4 a lot of characters have poor punishes, though how bad you'll be punished will depend on what character it's against. Against someone like FANG for instance the punish for it will be pretty negligible and against Dhalsim he wont even have a punish beyond a single light normal without bar for EX flame

Because she was Top 3-5 in Season 4, and every single one of them got touched a bit. Akuma and Birdie definitely got it worse, and she’s already won Red Bull Kumite, the first big Season 5 tournament. She may even have a bigger presence competitively, as NASR| Big Bird has been messing with her lately, possibly in preparation for a switch. She’s been nerfed in 4 straight patches, and is still VERY much alive, so I wouldn’t worry! I’m certainly not!
