Especially Steve Clarkson. He's right about Lamar and Saquon. After looking him up I see he's been a qb coach to some players. Some of them have turned out to not be able to stay in the league. But they did at least have good college careers, because he seems to coach a lot of players while they're still very young. But one interesting thing came up while I was looking. In his draft year, the Chiefs passed up Dan Marino and picked Todd Blackledge at 7. Marino didn't get picked until 27. With the kind of players the Chiefs have had with their receivers and secondary, that would've been a good team to see.

Big Game Shane no one is saying he should get a job because he's black. Isn't it obvious that's y he wasn't selected number 1? Look at what happened last year between tribisky and deshun Watson. White owners ignore the best and reach for what they r comfortable with.

@chrismog26286 жыл бұрын
krowking123 we r talking about QBs. Strictly QBs.
@dannyg886 жыл бұрын
Chris Mog Since 2000.. Cam Newton, Jameis Winston, Jamarcus Russell, Michael Vick have been taken #1 overall. Other black QBs selected RD 1 include: Robert Griffin III Pat Mahomes Deshaun Watson Teddy Bridgewater EJ Manuel Vince Young Josh Freeman Jason Campbell Byron Leftwich So it's not like teams are avoiding or downgrading black QBs. Jackson slid because their are valid concerns over his accuracy. I do agree he is waaaay better than Josh Allen. I also agree Watson is a better player than Trubisky, but teams make mistakes like that. The draft is a guessing game. In 2005 the Niners passed on Aaron Rodgers at #1, and he slid all the way down to 24th overall. QBs slide sometimes. Its based on team needs and scheme fit, not race. If Jackson is good, he'll prove it. Almost everyone had him going toward the end of RD 1 and thats exactly where he went.

This was the same coach that said, I wasn't smart enough to be a quarterback.The coach demanded the Principal to expell me and kicked me off the team. What the guy I fought was mad about was because I ran 2 long tds and threw for 3 tds in a scrimmage game. By the time I got to high school, I was moved to linebacker. Wow, listening to this a year and a half later and a lot of great points ... Lamar is great and proving all the good points true. Best QB of that draft class so far.

Some people mainly Louisville fans and those who understood his talent were upset because we knew what he was about to do to the NFL! Now he's doing just that!

How can you say that Baltimore isn't the perfect place for Jackson. They have Marty Mornhinweg who worked with Michael Vick in Philly, They have Greg Roman who worked with Kaep when he was at his best. Baltimore is a GREAT place for Jackson to become a star
