Twisted Metal Black is more or less my favorite vehicular combat game around. I like 1, I didn't care much for 2, and I don't have much experience with any of the others, but the dark, somber stories and selection of vehicles made me fall in love with Black.

Aw man now to think about it. You guys should do a whole co-op story session about the twisted metal series someday..incase something to make up for that let's play day like you did Super mario land instead of Kingdom Hearts that time. To the beginnings of the first, the fun times of 2, to the crazy un-grav of 3, the black sheep of challenging 4, The darkest of them all Black, to the awesome kiddish small brawl, to Going HEAD-ON [the twisted edition], and the latest of the lads...the midget.. the Reboot, but just saying though :).

You know, I don't understand why, but for someone that has never even touched a Twisted metal game, this looks a fuckton more appealing than Twisted metal 2 to me. I'm not going to say anything like it's fact, but from a pure spectator's point of view, the character balance in 2 seemed to be a bit garbage & that matters to me in a multiplayer game. Guys like Specter, Twister & Mr Slam made the game look completely one sided as their character spesifics were fucking beastly. Then I felt that characters like Sweet tooth & Hammerhead didn't have enough power to compliment their slow movement. Again, this is a pure spectated opinion, so my opinion might be completely wrong. I also shouldn't be saying much on this game, considering that I saw only 3 guys in action here while in 2 I saw everybody go at it.
