As a Valedictorian from the graduating Class of 2020, hearing that so many things, including my graduation, have been cancelled was less than ideal. I’ve worked so hard for a moment that I had imagined for years and years, but I can truly say I never imagined it would end like this. I am not graduating this year. Instead, yesterday I submitted my retirement letter from a job I have enjoyed for 27 years. Although I look forward to retirement, I feel a bit lost. To quote John - Now What? After I listened to the commencement conversations, I am inspired. I don’t know where I will find myself a year from now, but I do know that there is a future in which I have more things to accomplish! Thanks for the inspiration.
